Suspected sockpuppets

[edit]

This year, all 3 of these accounts have written a WP:G11-worthy article at Draft:Shaurya Gaikwad, and I presume that this is an autobiography. All 3 accounts have had no interest in editing or writing about anything else. There is strong username similarity too and it's worth noting that all of their usernames end in 4 seemingly random digits. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 18:05, 15 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

None of the accounts have disclosed to using multiple accounts but User:Shamg1981 does have a COI disclosure on their user page. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 18:07, 15 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I've now left an AGF comment at User talk:Shaurya4455 - let's see how they respond. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 22:34, 15 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • I agree, these seem pretty obvious. However, these aren't used at the same time. OTOH a name and random numbers is a pretty customary way to sock. At best what we're looking for here is prior block evasion?... Did you try a {{uw-agf-sock}} to start? Izno (talk) 21:32, 15 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
