Sunseeker International, is a UK luxury motor yacht manufacturer. Their headquarters and assembly factory is in Poole Harbour, at Poole in Dorset. They have been making motor boats since 1979.As of 2005, they employ 1800 people, with a turnover of 172 million pounds.

Trivia

  • In October 2002, Robert Braithwaite, the founder of Sunseeker International, was named Ernst & Young's UK Entrepreneur of the Year.[1]
  • In March, 2007 Sunseeker announced a 500 job expansion program, with a new site on the Isle of Portland in Dorset.[3]
  • James Light, a Sunseeker employee, was in September 2005 found to have stolen approximately £55,000 worth of materials during his seven year employment. The stolen merchandise, including a four-foot radar mast, were found, neatly boxed, in a storage garage in Bournemouth. He was sentenced to 12 months in prison, suspended for two years, and ordered to do 200 hours of community service. [4]
