Yeh Chanda Kanoon Hai (lit. This is Chanda's Law) is an Indian courtroom comedy series that aired on SAB TV from 2009 to 2010. The series presented a humorous take on the Indian legal system, using a courtroom setting to showcase eccentric characters and unusual cases.

Plot

Chanda Rani, a clever and resourceful lawyer played a central role, often using her sharp intellect and charm to navigate the unusual cases and often employing unconventional tactics. Her ex-husband, Vibhuti Narayan, frequently appeared as her opposing counsel, adding a personal dynamic to their courtroom interactions. Their history often seeped into their legal arguments, providing additional comedic tension. The judge, often depicted as an eccentric character with quirks and a tendency to be easily distracted or misinterpret evidence, contributed significantly to the show's humor. The judge's Ardali played a crucial supporting role, often subtly correcting the judge's errors or pointing out overlooked details, adding another layer of comedic observation.

Alongside these main characters, the show featured a revolving door of guest characters who played witnesses, plaintiffs, or defendants, each adding their own unique personalities and contributing to the overall comedic atmosphere. The show's focus was not on realistic legal representation but rather on the humorous interactions between its eccentric cast and the absurd nature of the cases they encountered, using the courtroom as a framework for lighthearted entertainment.
