Inclusion criteria
What are the inclusion criteria for this article? It seems a bit much to call the October Crisis or the Oka Crisis wars. Teh War Measures act was invoked for one of them, and the military was involved in both of them, but neither of those articles labels the events as a"war". Meters (talk) 06:46, 23 November 2015 (UTC)

Russian Civil War?
In the Allied intervention in the Russian Civil War, Canada took part. Would that count as a war involving Canada?

This is listed as defeat for many other nations. Why is just a withdraw here? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.182.51.221 (talk) 17:56, 10 December 2021 (UTC)
Second World War -Soviet Union ally of Germany- 1939 to 1941
I wish I knew how to enter a correction, and place the Soviet Union flag on bothsides, since, between 1939 and 1941, the Soviet Union was a strong ally of Nazi Germany. Stalin contributed considerable resources to and fully supported the German war effort. Source: Sontag, R.J and Beddie, J.S (eds). Should we add pictures and color schemes to the conflicts and results sections?
Some other "wars involving" lists for other countries include pictures (where applicable) to their conflicts sections, as well as colors representing the outcomes of conflicts in the results section. Should we do so in kind? I am happy to start gradually adding them myself. Thank you. (: Historyguy1138 (talk) 21:45, 26 December 2024 (UTC)
- I don't mind the inclusion of images. That said, while I'm not opposed to the introduction of colour in the tables themselves, I should note that the majority of other list of wars involving X articles that do use a colour scheme, are using colour schemes that have contrast issues and would violate MOS:COLOUR/accessibility policies and WCAG guidelines. Leventio (talk) 22:22, 26 December 2024 (UTC)
- Cool I will start on the images then. I was more thinking about the exact same color scheme as used in the List of wars involving the United States. We can even include a color table like they did. What do you think? (: Historyguy1138 (talk) 15:30, 27 December 2024 (UTC)
- Best we dont add 100 random images Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Accessibility#Images. This would also cause a scrolling nightmare. Moxy🍁 15:53, 27 December 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Moxy. I am proposing we do it similar to the List of wars involving the United States. Sometimes they do not add images at all if the conflict has no inherent pictures to it. They add a description, but always brief. (: Historyguy1138 (talk) 16:59, 27 December 2024 (UTC)

Were these wars?
I would question the inclusion of the Whiskey war, and the Turbot war in this list. Though often referred to as "wars", neither were armed conflicts in any sense of the term. Mediatech492 (talk) 13:55, 27 December 2024 (UTC)
