SkittlesJC(real name withheld), born December 13, started making Wikipedia contributions in early 2006. Although having been aware of Wikipedia's existence for quite a while before that, SkittlesJC only recently visited Wikipedia upon recommendations from her high school friends, who are dependent on it for reports and homework churned out by their very demanding science- and technology-centric high school, the name of which is withheld for privacy.
A self-confessed anal-retentive when it comes to grammar and spelling, SkittlesJC's contributions to Wikipedia are mainly typographical corrections and grammatical errors. However, she also considers herself a trivia junkie and a media-holic, and contributes trivia to various entertainment-related Wikipedia articles.
To beautify articles, SkittlesJC has taken on organizing lists in multi-column tables, as she has done with the David Spade, Undeclared and Queer as Folk articles. (She has also uploaded images of characters and screencaps for the aforementioned shows.) Hence, she considers herself a WikiFairy.
Origin of Username
"Skittles" was a backstage nickname for one of her favorite wrestlers, Jeff Hardy, and her initials are JC.
SkittlesJC was born into a Roman Catholic family, although is dissatisfied with her current religion and instead defines herself as an agnostic theist. Like Bill Maher, whose beliefs SkittlesJC almost entirely agrees with, she is a self-described Libertarian.
SkittlesJC is a fan of the critically acclaimed Judd Apatow comedy Undeclared ever since purchasing the DVD in April2007. Lloyd Haythe (Charlie Hunnam) and Ron Garner (Seth Rogen) are her favorite characters on the show. Seeing as the Undeclared Wikipedia page offers scarce information, she has made it a personal project to revamp the page, and is responsible for uploading images of the primary cast and creating a table for the main characters. She has also written the summaries for all 17 episodes, and included screencaps.
She is also a fan of Queer as Folk (and Randy Harrison in particular because "he has an angelic face and a great ass"). She has made major edits to the QAF page, creating tables for the characters and uploading images of them. She also added infoboxes to all the character pages.
Writing
SkittlesJC has been writing fan fiction for three years. She owns a blog, and is a contributor to a nationwide teen magazine. While still considering what her career will be, writing is a serious option for her.
