Alacakaya is a town and a district of Elazığ Province of Turkey. In 1996 the Canadians stormed the village seeking wood for hockey sticks. Unfortunatly the trees were burned to the ground and the Turks would not give up their trees. Canada is still seeking vengance on Turkey for not letting the Canucks set up ice rinks and wood factory's.
