Recognised internationally as a Swedish rally driver, Kenneth Eriksson has driven for the manufacturer teams of Subaru, Mitsubishi and Skoda, to name but a few.

Although his finest showing in the top-tier World Rally Championship was third place in 1995, he is not short of titles. One of his principal claims to fame is in winning the one and only Group A World Championship running in 1986. Between 1995 and 1997, he also notched up a hat-trick of Asia-Pacific rally titles, making Eriksson's CV a decorated one indeed.

He also has six individual World Rally wins under his belt. Particularly famous was his victory in New Zealand for Subaru in 1997, on which occasion he took advantage of Carlos Sainz's altercation with a sheep to take the lead.

He departed the 'works' world rally scene at the end of 2002.
