Martin Stoyanov Stoev was born on 03.10.1971 in Sofia (BUL). He played volleyball from 1984 until 2005. Enrolled in the National team from 1991 to 1999, he played over 200 matches with the Bulgarian team and was 3 times National champion of Bulgaria (twice with the team of Levski Siconco, 1 – Minior Buhovo). As a player he won the World Junior Championship in 1981 in Cairo, where he was nominated for MVP of the competition. Since 2005 he is the Head coach of the Bulgarian Senior Men’s National team. For only two years ahead of the national team he already achieved a lot. Achievements: - 2005 – the team qualified to the World Championship and finished 5th at the World League - 2006 – the team qualified to the European Championship, finished 4th at the World League and won the bronze medals from 2007 World Championships in Japan.Bulgaria[1]
