Aamer Haleem
Aamer Haleem is a VH1 on-air personality and host of the show Bands Reunited. He was the host of VH1's Top 20 Video Countdown until April 7, 2006 when the show was remodeled and relaunched as VSpot Top 20 Countdown with Matt Pinfield. The new format allowed viewers to vote on their favorite music videos directly. However, Aamer Haleem returned to the VSpot on May 26, 2006 to fill in for Matt Pinfield. Haleem also interviewed Madonna on the special "Madonna Speaks".
Born in London, Haleem was raised in Canada, where he attended the University of Toronto and the School of Journalism at Humber College. His first job was as an associate producer at TSN. He also hosted a music vedo program at Hong Kong's Channel V in 1996, but returned to Canada the following year after the transfer of the sovereignty of Hong Kong to host VTV Breakfast on Vancouver television station CIVT-TV (then known as "VTV").
