"Steered Straight" is a fourth season episode of the Nickelodeon television series Drake & Josh. It premiered on March 11, 2007.

Plot summary

Template:Spoiler Drake gets tickets to see The Hailstones, a band which will be performing in The Reptile Room, a 21-and-over venue. After using fake IDs and the identies "Jefferson Steelflex" and "Alvin Yakitori" to get in they are caught and brought home. As a result Drake and Josh have to go to a "Steered Straight" program which simulates an arrest, but on the first night, the police officer gets his car stolen during a convenience store robbery. Drake and Josh pretend to be criminals and try to trick the robber to drop them off at their house, claiming they plan to rob it, but the robber attempts to help them. They get into their house through the window and the criminal goes downstairs while Drake and Josh try to call 911 while handcuffed. When the criminal shows up and asks who they were calling, Drake and Josh reply that they were calling more criminals to assist a plot involving the kidnapping of the governor. The robber decides to join them and calls his crew to assist. The other criminals set the boys free but Walter arrives. Drake and Josh ambush him, binding and gagging them, then lock him in the upstairs closet. Then the boys come up with an idea, and by using Josh's magic kit, Drake acts as a madman by beating Josh with a banana, ripping off his fake hand, and biting a finger off of the fake hand. This frightens the criminals, who quickly leave. Afterwards, Drake, Josh, Audrey, and Megan are eating at BF Wangs, and Drake and Josh realize that they forgot about Walter, but continue eating anyway.
