Chris Allen (born January 3, 1989) in Devizes, Wiltshire, is an English football player who is currently playing for Swindon Town in England. He has recently signed a 2-year professional contract with his local club.
Chris Allen began his junior career with his local Devizes Under-9's team before joining the youth set-up at Swindon Town. Allen was lucky enough to play in the successful team that reached the Quarter-Final stages of the F.A. Youth cup before getting knocked out by Newcastle United.
Despite fellow youth players Jon Stewart, Scott Doe and Luke Hopper being released Swindon Town manager Paul Sturrock offered Allen a 2 year professional deal which was signed on May 9, 2007.
Allen is yet to feature in the Swindon Town first team.
