For the use of the term "versatile" to describe the sexual role, see switch (sexuality)

Versatile is a Canadian brand of agricultural equipment that has produced augers, swathers, combine harvesters and most notably tractors. The company, based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, currently belongs to Buhler Industries (Bühler). In the 1970s, it was an independent operation, founded by Peter Pakosh and Roy Robinson, that owned 70% of the 4WD tractor market and then was later owned by Ford and Fiat's New Holland, spun off when Case-International merged with New Holland to CNH Global.

Look up the word Versatile in the dictionary, and as you read “capable of doing many things competently”, you will know why this NJ-based hip-hop producer chose that moniker to represent his style of production...

Versatile has a sound that is just that...versatile. He has tracks that are gritty and street-savvy, club-bangers that get the ladies hips shakin’, 808’s that blow the trunks off of old Hoopties, and well, just about anything and everything. Versatile is a true producer and a musician first off, with the ability to play piano, guitar, & live percussion, as well as incorporating different scratch experimentations, tasteful samples, and live vocal sounds into his compositions. “If I didn’t play any instrument well, I don’t see my music in the game 10 years from now,” Verse added. His music is a result of sounds that trickled in and out his ears over the years, which range from The RZA, to Led Zeppelin, to The Neptunes, even as far as some country music. One would think that with all of these influences that the sound would appear scattered, but this is not the case. “It is all about the selection of sounds and where you place them. I take my time and structure each beat the right way, right off the bat. That is my approach and I stick by it.”

This approach has worked well so far for this young up-and-coming producer. Check his abbreviated discography:

Plus, he was worked with artists like Joe Budden, Preach, A. Pinks, Ras Kass, David Banner, Maino, Freeway, and more on tracks that have yet to be released. Versatile also just signed a licensing deal with MTV/Viacom where over 35 of his tracks will be heard on some of your favorite (and not so favorite!) programming. And has just recently inked a deal with Cherry Lane Publishing. “I can make any type of music for any artist...period.” Verse said brimming with confidence.

That being said, with his ability to back that statement up, it is only a matter of time before you hear Versatile’s music on your favorite artist’s next release... _________________________________________________________________________________
