Canyon Vista Middle School (CVMS) is a middle school located in Austin, Texas. It is part of the Round Rock Independent School District. It has three subsidiary elementary schools:

It follows on to Westwood High School.

In 1986, Canyon Vista had an extension built to accommodate at least 200 extra lockers as well as 10 extra rooms.

Canyon Vista has won two blue ribbons from the United States Department of Education and has also been chosen by the Texas Education Agency as one of the top ten middle schools in Texas.

In 2007, Canyon Vista also was awarded the TBEC award.

Some of the starters of Canyon Vista were Ms.Robertson, Barbara Snodgrass, and Judy Olson. Two of them (Snodgrass and Olson) still serve as teachers now (Spanish and English).

Ms.Robertson retired and now works as a part time sub for Canyon Vista and other schools frequently.
