Vandalism of PAVCS

Your PAVCS has been recently vandalized. --Freiddie 12:12, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AndonicO's RfA

I've added my nomination to Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/AndonicO. Feel free to add your co-nom, RyGuy. =) Nishkid64 17:28, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I wasn't sure if I was supposed to answer before Arjun co-nom'ed, or after... I guess I'll do it now, and not accept until then. · AO Talk 19:06, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your VandalProof Application

Dear RyGuy,

Thank you for applying for VandalProof! (VP). As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. The reason for this is that at this time you do not meet the minimum requirement of 250 edits to mainspace articles (see under main here). Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank you for your interest in VandalProof. Daniel Bryant 08:28, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. I seem to have missed those requirements. Ryan Got something to say? 12:56, 19 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Good luck!

Have fun on your vacation! · AO Talk 14:05, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, that was quick! Anyway, I'm going to Orlando,Florida on Thursday. I'll be there for about a week, so I won't be active during that time. Ryan Got something to say? 14:09, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, then I guess that was a little early. :-) I hope you don't melt down there! Tell me what the temperature is when you return. · AO Talk 14:39, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In the absence of other nominations, free software is the article for improvement by the WikiProject for the week of 4/22-4/28. Please help rearrange the article, primarily, and make any improvements that you can think of. Hopefully, as the article is already pretty good, we can bring it to an FA. Thanks! --Liπus the Turbogeek(contact me) 18:55, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

It's been some time since I've used Wikipedia. I'm just here find out what you have been doing recently. OK, so you are going on vacation to Florida, huh? I've been REALLY busy recently, so I never got much time to do Wikipedia things, since my SATs are due on May 5. I do hope that I get freer after that unappealing date in May. Bye for now. --Freiddie 20:47, 21 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Don't worry. I'm sure that being offline for a while isn't bad. For example, I'm going on vacation Thursday, and I will be gone for a week. Ryan Got something to say? 15:06, 22 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, have a nice vacation. --83.143.28.150 20:27, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
If you are Fei, please note you forgot to log in. :-) Anyway, whoever you may be, thanks. Ryan Got something to say? 20:31, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yep! I was just about to add a note... I'm usually signed in automatically - but it expires every after a few weeks (I guess). So I got signed out but I didn't noticed until I saw the red IP address. --Freiddie 20:40, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, IE automatically clears your cookies every so often, depending what you have it set to do. Cookies are what Wikipedia uses to do auto log-ins. Ryan Got something to say? 11:44, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Congrats!

Thanks! Just to let you know (if you didn't know), to get your name changed, you have to file a request at WP:CHU. Btw, have a nice vacation! Mystytopia (talk) 11:53, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! :-) Ryan Got something to say? 12:00, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RFA thanks

Thank you, Ryan, for your constructive comments in my recent RFA, which passed with 86 support, 8 oppose, and 5 neutral !votes. I will keep in mind all your suggestions and/or concerns, and will try to live up to your standards. Please, if you have any comments or complaints about my actions as an administrator, leave a note on my talk page, and I will respond as soon as I possibly can, without frying my brain, of course.
Thank you once more,
· AndonicO Talk

Thanks for nominating! · AndonicO Talk 17:44, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Who says I won't fry it? If I respond too quickly to "comments or complaints about my actions as an administrator", I might. :) · AndonicO Talk 12:31, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, have a good trip? · AndonicO Talk 13:41, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah! I had fun. We went to Universal Orlando (which is what we orginally planned), but the rides weren't very fun, and that wait times gived were an hours off for some rides, so we just went to Disney World after the second day. It took a day to get to florida, and a day to get home! I'm not telling you what to do or anything, but in my opinion, if you ever want to go on vacation in Florida, SeaWorld or Disney is your best bet. :-) Ryan Got something to say? 13:45, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: RyGuy has left...

Congrats on your name change RyGuy Ryan! :) Mystytopia (talk) 12:06, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hehe, good one. I was already moaning that I had to convince yet another person to stay. :) · AndonicO Talk 12:19, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I was really thinking you wouldn't fall for it. (I was wrong) Ryan Got something to say? 12:29, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Welcome back! How ever did you change your user name? Was it difficult? (Yes, I feel like changing mine.) I'm also freer since yesterday, so maybe I can attend to my Wiki-tasks. --Freiddie 14:44, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I went to WP:CHU/U. If the neam you want already is in use, but hasn't contributed, you can "usurp" it by going there. If the name doesn't exist, you can just go to WP:CHU. :-) Ryan Got something to say? 16:13, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Hey Ryan, thanks for your message on my page! I'm feeling a bit better now, although I'll probably still be contributing at a lower level for a while. I can't stay sad with friends like you around, though! :) On a different note, I adore your userpage, it's very clever! And the new username too! Anyway, I hope you're well. Take care, buddy! – Riana 04:25, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

:-) I hope you're feeling better, and if you're not, hope you feel better soon! Ryan Got something to say? 11:58, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Wow

Hey Ryanjunk. I'd just like to congradulate you on beating me to 19 vandalised articles (including Jim Henson, which was just vandalised) Ryan Got something to say? 20:43, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Go-go gadget Twinkle! Congrats on stealing my name, btw ;) Ryanjunk 20:45, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
:-) Actually, I literally stole User:Ryan (usurped)'s name, mine used to be RyGuy. I've always wanted TWINKLE, But I can't seem to get it working. Ryan Got something to say? 20:49, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Antivandalist tools

I've noticed that you have some anti-vandalist tools. Could you tell me how they work? --Freiddie 18:06, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sure! The "Warn-a-Vandal" link as I call it is a template, but it warns the Ip or Username that you type into the box. If you want to give a test warning for the first time, you'd type the user's ip / name in "test1". In my monobook JavaScript I also have Lupin's popups (for speedy reverting) and wikEd (for an advanced editing toolbar [only compatible with Mozilla Firefox]). Ryan Got something to say? 13:09, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
One more thing, I think I need a bot that archives my talk page. Could you help? --Freiddie 15:47, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Done! MiszaBot III will archive for you. I will set up a link to the archives in a few minutes. Ryan Got something to say? 11:51, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot. --Freiddie 19:41, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hmmm, why is it not archiving one of my oldest conversations (It's called Talk:Maxima and Minima on my talk page)? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Freiddie (talkcontribs) 20:06, 15 May 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Hello, Ryan. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:Boeing sonic.jpg) was found at the following location: User:Ryan/ Signature Book. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 06:51, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
