Marthijn Uittenbogaard (born in Leiden, April 21, 1972) is a Dutch paedophile activist. In July 2003, he launched the Human Face of Paedophilia with two other activists.[1] On 31 May 2006,[2] he co-founded the Partij voor Naastenliefde, Vrijheid en Diversiteit (PNVD), a Dutch political party known for to its pedophile board members and liberal approach to the age of consent. Uittenbogaard is currently the PNVD's president.[3]

Marthijn and MARTIJN

From November 15 1998 - May 6 2007, Uittenbogaard was also a board member of Vereniging MARTIJN[4] - an organisation that aims to make intergenerational sexual relationships acceptable. Contrary to popular belief, the organisation was not named after Uittenbogaard.[5] [see episode 22] Indeed, Uittenbogaard was only a boy of 9 or 10, and had no contact with any of the early members when the organisation was founded in 1982.[6]

Views

In a 2003 article published in MARTIJN's OK Magazine, Uittenbogaard linked his boyhood sexual feelings for older men to his current beliefs. He regrets not having had sex with an older man when he was younger. He also stated that children should be exposed to "all of what’s possible" via DVD so that they can know what they want. Uittenbogaard goes on to mention that an "evolution" of sexual philosophy is preferable to a "revolution", since society can approach each emergent problem with greater sensitivity. [7]
