Senecio rowleyanus, commonly called string-of-pearls or string-of-beads, is a flowering plant in the family Asteraceae. It is native to southwest Africa. S. rowleyanus grows long, trailing stems of spherical leaves. The flowers are pale and brushlike. It is cultivated indoors as an ornamental plant for hanging baskets.
