New Young Pony Club are a five-piece English band from London, formed in 2004. They toured with singer Lily Allen and on the NME Indie Rave tour with Klaxons. The group's name, according to lead vocalist Tahita Bulmer, derives partially from that of an Irish band, Pony Club, describing New Young Pony Club as "a newer, younger and kinkier Pony Club" [1]. After two 7" releases on Tirk they were discovered and signed worldwide by Phil Hutcheon of Modular Records. They recently performed a street gig for T4 Transmission housed inside of the London Science Museum. They are set to tour in throughout May and the first half of June to support their forthcoming album 'Fantastic Playroom'.
