Four Seasons Hotel Austin is a part of the Toronto-based Four Seasons chain of luxury hotels and resorts. Four Seasons Hotel Austin offers Austin's only four-star[1] restaurant, The Café. It is located on the shores of Town Lake, a reservoir of the Colorado River in the heart of downtown Austin, Texas.

History

The Four Seasons Hotel Austin was completed in 1987. Designed in a Southwestern motif, the 9-story facility was built near the Sixth Street District and Congress Avenue, which is listed on the National Register of Historical Places. The hotel is constructed in a combination of flagstone and native art to give it an atmosphere of a warm Texas hacienda – elegance without pretension. Four Seasons Hotel Austin currently houses 291 guest rooms, including 28 suites.
