Tungurahua

Tungurahua, also known as the "The Black Giant", is an active volcano in Ecuador with a 180 meter (600 ft.) wide crater.

Its most recent eruption occurred in 1944. In August 2003, it ejected a plume of ash and smoke 3 kilometers (2 miles) into the air.
