The Eighteen Mile Creek is a tributary of Lake Ontario, located entirely in Niagara County, New York. Despite it's name, the Eighteen Mile Creek is not 18 miles long and is more akin to a small river. Originating just north of Lockport, NY, it travels approximately 26 miles, along a myriad of twists and turns, until depositing into Lake Ontario, at Olcott Harbor. The name "Eighteen Mile" creek refers not to the length of the creek, but to its distance from the Niagara River.
