Central Crossing High School is a high school in Grove City, Ohio. It is one of 4 high schools in the South-Western City Schools district.

It opened in the fall of 2002 and currently has around 1,800 students. The mascot for Central Crossing is the Comet, and their colors are royal blue and silver.

Extracurricular Activities

The Central Crossing High School Marching Band competes on a National Level and has attended the Grand Nationals Championship in Indianapolis, IN and Super Regionals in St. Louis, Missouri, among other places. The band has won pretty much all the awards possible except 2nd and 3rd place. The band is much better than the football team and everyone knows it. the band has won more awards then all of the sports in the school added up. this is a great thing for such a young school. one day they will get 1st at a GN and then all the HS bands will know that CCHS is way better than Grove City HS. This band has the greatest TRUMPET section as well, even though the baritones are the best sounding. The show DANCE will never be topped but they will try in 2007 when they go the Youngstown State, Indy, and St. Louis.

The school has an NJROTC unit. It has 100 members and competes nationally in Drill and Rifle Meets.

The Central Crossing Comets sports teams include Football, Basketball, Tennis, Baseball and Softball.

The Student Council plans many events for the students, including Homecoming.

Also, 8 AP classes are available to students.

Staff

Currently, around 100 people call CCHS their employer, from janitors to lunch ladies to, of course, teachers.
