Elliot Wengler is a Teenager livng in Speen who goes to John Hampden Grammer School, High Wycombe. He is well-known on the ONM (Official Nintendo Magazine) forums as the user Darth Wengle. He is also well-known on Youtube for use of simplistic software to create very well made videos & Wengle TV.

THE ORIGINS OF "WENGLE"

The word "Wengle" orginated from from a school ICT account. At John Hampden, James Matthew Allen, noticed Elliot's username: 049Wene , and altered it with his surname. "I just found it funny. Then everyone just called him that" James said. Wengle-Weenie has evolved into Wengle.

THE ORIGINS OF "DARTH WENGLE"

I started being Darth Wengle when I started playing Star Wars Battlefront2. Darth Wengle has become a common for Wengle and is his Wikipedia username. In many places where he can create an Online account, he now prefers the use of Wengle. Darth Wengle quit the V clan and a few months later joined {Hunter}. After 2 months in {Hunter}, he left to start his own clan: Warrior Army, with his best friend, Lee Elliot. After 2 months in this clan, he found it a struggle to keep runing his own clan as well as fighting for SotG community. He is currently in Hunter/SotG. On the ONM forums, Darth Wengle's Mortal enemey of named DOUBLE H.

WENGLE PUPPET CHUMS

The Wengle Puppet Chums is the Name of a cartoon Wengle created about him & his friends. The Wengle Puppet Chums article has been deleted from Wikipedia. 5 series' have been made. A Christmas series has been planned since the Summer, but the number of viewers/fans had decreased ever since the Potter puppet pals have been made into actual puppets, and fans weren't satisfied with rough book scripts. The Christmas series was cancelled, or will not be written to be shown in the script series. Wengle confirmed that Wengle Puppet Chums will become an actual puppet series. This was appreciated by fans, and he confirmed that production of the real series would begin in January. The production has not yet began, and fans are wondering weather Wengle Puppet chums is going to continue. Wengle has rumored about a spin-off series: The Peter. In a similar fashion to the Friends spin-off series: Joey. Wengle has speculated that it will star Peter winning the Lottery and running away from home & living in Wycombe on his own, encountering new characters, like the rumored Sam Jones.

WENGLE TV

Wengle TV is a show on youtube starring Wengle. It is very much inspired by D_Bug TV, from the ONM forums, who made a simplistic Gaming discussion show just about himself called D_Bug TV.

Wengle TV Production & Episode notes/summaries

Wengle TV's original Teaser trailer was first put on Youtube on October 31st. It was taken down & put back on November 21st 2006. On the 20/11/06, Wengle TV's first official Trailer was put up. It featured the title sequence from the first episode using the Doctor Who theme tune, and it said that Wengle TV would actually start on December 1st 2006. The first episode (simply named: Pilot, possibly to be renamed Wengle Who) was put up on December 23rd. It went up suddenly due to the competition that was about to be offered by a failing show called ONM TV. The first episode was critised for the poor use of Microphone & seeming to rushed, (and the whole series would be criticized about the Wengle's laptop being too noisy). The Pilot featured Wengle Discussing Doctor Who, and gave a bad impression. One week later, the 2nd episode, Wii Like, was put onto Youtube. Notable changes include:

  • Change of Title sequence to use of the 1980's Doctor Who title sequece.
  • Less of Wengle talking.
  • More editing.

The episode was again criticized, for copying D_Bug. D_bug TV's episode 9 was included a Wii Music video, and Wengle did a Wii Boxing demonstration with the song: So long & thanks for all the fish. Episode 3 is very much the worst, and Wengle took it down from Youtube. But he re-uploaded it on April 18th 2007, as promised to Peter Bagley. It featured Peter Bagley & Wengle discussing mechandising. Whilst the discussion is cited as good, the episode was approached too immaturely. Wengle TV's first signs of praise & recognition showed in Wengle Wars. After seeing the poorly made ONM TV, wengle used a Star Wars opening crawl, and very little of him talking along with a Music video to the popular song: You know my name. Wengle was onscreen for less than 1 minute. It got extremely positive feedback. Episode 5: perfect Timing used a speed-run for most of the episode of Sonic Adventure DX's final boss: Perfect Chaos. He beat the boss in 1.40. WengleStarRunnner featured 2 cartoons from Homestarrunner.com, ( It should be noted that this was meant to be episode 5) & even had a fake next time trailer at the end so Peter Bagley could cameo. Episode 7 was meant to include a Futurama music video to The Voice Inside by Crush 40, but was delayed to episode 8. Episode 7 was changed to Perfect timing 2, and featured a speed-run of Sonic Adventure 2's final boss: The FinalHazard. Episode 8 was to be the comeback to ONM after several messages asking for a thread. The episode featured the futurama music video. It again recieved negative feedback from ONM, but positive elsewhere. Episode 9 is one of the most successful. It recieved positive feedback. It got rid of the Star Wars crawl text & replaced Domonic Glyyn's Doctor Who theme with a special Wengle TV theme/Doctor Who remix by Ashley Harper; a friend from school. Episode 9: TV's best featured clips from Futurama, Little Britain & Only fools & horses. Wengle TV decided that episode 10 would be special. He confirmed early on it would be an episode with clips from all the others. He decided he would film it outside & did so on Tuesday 27th March 2007. He backed up the sequence as he was forced to format his Laptop the following Friday. He managed to save the sequence & the Pre-prepared music video about Wengle TV. The Music video featured clips from the other episodes to the song that had been used for the credits in most of the other episodes: Experimental Film - They Might be Giants. The episode, using Episode 1's titles; as they were the only exsisting ones that Wengle could use, as they were the only ones not titled over, & Ashley Harper's theme again didn't use the Star Wars rip-off. It was the shortest episode, & despite ONM being thankful that Wengle put it was the final one on it, Wengle ended it on a cliffhanger, of him suddenly disappearing from his chair. Wengle has confirmed Wengle TV will continue, & with Ashley Harper, has filmed scenes resolving Wengle's disappearance, but Wengle has yet to edit this together. Sam Jones has said: "Wengle promised me to put my speedrun of an F-Zero track in. But niether have I done that or has wengle said it confidently..." It is most likely Wengle TV will continue in the summer, when Wengle's laptop will have been fixed & Wengle will have the time to make it.

Wengle has now confirmed that Wengle TV will begin again on May 19th; by conincendce, this was the original Star Wars Release date. It however didn't restart. Wengle states "I will not be starting again until HP fix my bloody Laptop & I have the resources for a 2nd series."
