Bhaderwah is a town and a notified area committee in Doda district in the state of Jammu & Kashmir, India. Bhaderwah valley is predominantly a mountainous town situated 80 km from Batote. Kailash Yatra is a pilgrimage of the area which is considered an important Hindu pilgrimage.[citation needed]

Demographics

As of 2001 India census,Template:GR Bhaderwah had a population of 10,849. Males constitute 59% of the population and females 41%. Bhaderwah has an average literacy rate of 76%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with 64% of the males and 36% of females literate. 10% of the population is under 6 years of age.
