Alberto Castilla

Alberto Castilla (1878-1937), born in Bogotá. He was engineer, journalist, poet, writer, mathematician and musician. He founded the Conservatory of the Tolima and composed the famous Bunde of Tolima like instrumental music to which Nicanor Velasquez added verses and that at the moment now is the Hymn of the Tolima Department.
