These are the main characters in the Cartoon Network series Camp Lazlo.

Main Bean Scouts

Lazlo

File:Lazlo.png

Lazlo is a fun loving, free-wheeling Brazilian spider monkey. He is one happy camper, and is always having fun, even when everyone else is bored. However, with all the rules, routine, and structure of Camp Kidney, Lazlo and his best friends (Raj and Clam) have a hard time fitting in with some of the locals (namely Lumpus and Edward). Lazlo's cheerful, idealistic attitude and overactive imagination towards solving problems doesn't always match Scoutmaster Lumpus' idea of how things should be done, and commonly causes some sort of complication. A creature of simple pleasures, Lazlo is easily entertained between creativity and a vivid imagination.

Lazlo is incredibly optimistic, and is rarely seen angry or depressed except in Camp Samson, Snake Eyes and Hello Summer Goodbye Camp. Lazlo is extremely friendly and compassionate, and seems oblivious to the fact that many of his fellow campers find his attitude annoying. Lazlo loves animals and has taken in a good number of them, each for a short period of time. Lazlo often angers Chef McMuesli, though unintentionally. He follows codes and rules of the Bean Scouts and owns a copy of the Bean Scout Handbook, much to Lumpus' annoyance.

In 7 Deadly Sandwiches, Lazlo served as the director for a performance on stage. Though the acts of some of the performers would become messy and Raj would often show displeasure, Lazlo only minds a little.

In the episode I've Never Bean In a Sub, it is shown that Lazlo has a talent in stacking beans. He nearly broke the record which is being held by an old submarine owner but never made it as he accidentally knocked over his bean tower. Nonetheless, he earned enough money and purchased sandwiches for his fellow Bean Scouts. He has the unique skill of sitting on pinecones for a long time. He can also play a banjo as shown in Float Trippers.

In The Bean Tree, Lazlo became the scoutmaster of Camp Kidney when Lumpus mistook him as his son and opted to retire.

Raj

File:Raj.png

Raj is an Indian elephant, and one of Lazlo's bunkmates in the Jelly Bean Cabin at Camp Kidney. Raj is vain and 'girlish-voiced', and is usually seen spending time with Lazlo and Clam. He speaks with a distinct Indian accent, loves marshmallows (sometimes to the point where he is completely addicted to them), and sometimes has to bring Lazlo back reality when his imagination is overactive. Raj dreams of becoming a professional DJ when he grows up. He has seven blankets, one for each day of the week, to sleep with at night. As everyone prounce Lumpus' name as "Lampes", Raj is the only scout who pronounces it as "Loompus".

He hates messes, pests, and anything that slithers or crawls. Raj cowers from many things such as swimming. He has a very sensitive disposition, and easily gets upset to the point of crying when saddened, scared or making big careless mistakes. He even cries much more often than Lazlo. When frightened, he tends to react by hiccuping. In spite of his fears, Raj sticks with his friends in their adventures because, like them, he loves fun (almost as much as his record collection). He seems to be very concerned for Lazlo. In Burpless Bean, where Edward recalled that if he fires Lazlo, he will quit and protest (same goes to Clam), and he sat right next to him in Squirrel Seats. He commonly uses the word protest, as in both Burpless Bean and Hot Spring Fever, Raj wears a combination of a beanie and a fez instead of the usual Bean Scout hat that allows him to fly. It's likely that he loves his hat, because when the Bean Scouts don't have to wear their hats, he wears it all the time. Its propeller spins rapidly when he is aggitated. (like certain characters who have a part which moves when they have a feeling).

In Hot Spring Fever, it is revealed Raj goes to a hot spring on a regular basis, due to that it keeps him from breaking out with acne. It was also obvious that he's compliment about his skin. He and Samson use the same hot spring and they fought over, but end up sharing it. It is also shown there that he has two belly buttons which is a gross secret. Despite Samson telling of it regards to their squabble, the other Beans Scouts didn't mind. In Hard Days Samson, their rivalry could still be on as he seemed mad when Samson had to hide in potato salad. Also in No Beads No Business, the two had a bitter argument over a bottle of nasal spray. He and Samson are somewhat cowardly and vain, but Samson has less of it. Raj could be a better camp wimp than Samson. One of Lazlo's bunkmates in the Jelly Cabin at Camp Kidney, Raj is a cautious Indian elephant who spends his time with Lazlo and Clam. And also usually gets Kaffizzle River objects from his parents', as seen in The Big Cheese and Love Sick(even though in The Big Cheese his cheese wheel was printed "Made in China").

Clam

File:Clamtherhino.jpg
Clam

Clam is a small, quirky individual whose knowledge (as well as the items in his Jelly Bean cabin space) come from cereal box tops. Though seemingly unintelligent, Clam is actually a musical and academic genius and is often misunderstood by others, including Lumpus. He once even painted a portrait that looks identical to Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa. His high IQ is also hinted in the episode Squirrel Seats where in one scene, he says one sentence in French. This could mean that he uses French as a secondary language.

Always a protective friend, Clam loves thrill-seeking and eating cereal, especially the kinds with prizes in the boxes. He has a low voice and either speaks in short "sentences" that almost never exceed three or four words at a time or repeats the last word Lazlo or Raj says.

Clam seems to have immense strength, comparable to Ed's from Ed, Edd n Eddy, and is the strongest in the camp, despite his shortness in size. Clam is also a mechanical genius, having created a car out of wood, a hairdryer into an airplane, and such.

Clam's razor-sharp horns can be used in opening cans and cutting things as shown in I've Never Bean in a Sub and Hard Days Samson. He was also used as a shovel in the episode Dead Bean Drop.

Of the three Jellies, Clam tends to serve as a medium between Raj's overcautiousness and Lazlo's love of thrillseeking, though he generally prefers to ally with Lazlo.

Clam nearly fall to his last in Hello Summer, Goodbye Camp. Fortunate for him, Patsy came to his rescue.

Clam loves gooseberries which is shown Being Edward. It is also shown in that episode that he can actually duplicate Edward's voice.

Edward Platypus

File:Edward 1.jpg
Edward

A stickler for the rules, Edward (voiced by Doug Lawrence) is a platypus with a big, fat grudge against anyone who doesn't follow them. In "Racing Slicks", even though he won the race, he didn't get the largest trophy. He's constantly coming up with schemes to spoil any fun that Lazlo and his pals might have, especially in "The Nothing Club" where everyone except Lazlo was in an anti-Lazlo club. At times he has joined forces with Lazlo for a common goal such as retrieving the camp pet in "Loogie Llama". He is somewhat Compared to Squidward Tentacles From Spongebob Squarepants for being usually the dead serious type

In "Burpless Bean" Edward is chosen to lead the chorus of burping scouts in a talent show. Because Lazlo is unable to burp, and the other Jelly scouts won't perform without him, Edward agrees to teach Lazlo how to burp. Though he enjoyed showing off his moves he eventually grew frustrated when Lazlo couldn't mimic them and decided to taperecord a burp for the performance. Not wanting to cheat, Lazlo comes up with a new plan (inspired by a sci-fi comic). Although Edward is skeptical, Lazlo's futuristic 'robot' dancing proves a hit and the concert ends happily.

Nobody, however, knows Edward's secret (until "Hello, Dolly"): he loves dolls and playing with them. He even has a doll named Veronica that he got for Christmas. He sleeps in Pinto Cabin with Chip and Skip. Edward is also Camp Kidney's current mascot known as the "Duke of Lice" which is shown in the episode "Mascot Madness". He has a brother whose name is Mel and has three other older brothers. It is revealed in "Hello Summer, Goodbye Camp", Edward really wants a voodoo drum. In the episode "Waiting For Edward" it is sadly revealed he needs Chip and Skip to feel smart. Edward also used to play croquet, but quit for an unknown reason, as he mentions in the episode "Creepy Crawly Campy". Perhaps because of their similar personalities, Gretchen from Acorn Flats has a crush on him. In "Temper Teepee" they share the same happy place- a fantasy world where they drive a bulldozer over a common nemesis: Chef McMuesli. Also, it was revealed by Lazlo in "Taking Care of Gretchen" that Gretchen and Edward argue with each other about whose ice cream is better every time the ice cream man comes to camp. In "Tomato Paste" Edward is the only Bean Scout to have every Bean Scout Badge that ever existed-until he reveals to Lumpus that he got the badges by buying them and has been faking his achievements; Lumpus admits that thats the way he became Scoutmaster as well.

Edward is also one of the youngest characters on the camp according to the episode: "Movie Night". He was the only camper who could not watch the horror movie because he was not a "big boy" yet. Despite this, he often acts more mature than the other scouts at Camp Kidney.

Edward is perhaps the weakest checkers player among the Bean Scouts. Fred bested him Waiting For Edward. Samson and Lazlo defeated him in Temper Tee Pee. He won at least once along with Gretchen when he and her fell into a spell made Heimlich Mc Muesli.

Edward has a dislike for everything, but the two things on the top of his list are Lazlo and Camp Kidney.

In Tusk Wizard, he helped Raj pulled out his second tusk which was much harder to remove than the last one.

The cabin where Edward stays is mobile. One time in Boxing Edward, he attempted to drove it out of camp. Unfortunately, Slinkman interfered and told him not to.

Samson Clogmeyer

File:Samsontheguineapig.jpg
Samson

Samson is an accident-prone, nerdy, neat freak guinea pig who wears large glasses. He has terrible luck and is easily hurt. He is known as the "Camp Wimp" and is constantly pushed around by some of his fellow campers. Due to his numerous physical weaknesses, he an assortment of "health buddies" which he keeps next to his bed for his various medical problems, which are nasal allergy buddy, asthma buddy, foot fungus buddy, eyeball buddy, and skin rash buddy.

He has a hard time fitting-in, commonly ignored by other scouts, and doesn't have any real friends at Camp Kidney. When social, he is usually seen with Edward, only to be pushed around by Edward's dominating personality. When upset or aggitated, he will repeatedly say "murp" or "nerts" (an onomatopoeia for a noise guinea pig makes).

He is part of the Fava Cabin along with Dave and Ping-Pong. He is Acorn Flats' mailman and has a deviated septum as shown in Hard Days Samson. There the Squirrel Scouts started chasing after him because he looked like a hamster playboy. When he tries to get away, Edward would secretly helped the Squirrel Scouts find him. Fortunate for Samson, two Raj and Clam were hiding under a cabin, and knew what was happening (one of them said "It's time to catch a rat!"). They post a portrait of Edward on a model's photo causing the girls to chase after him instead. He also appears to be the manager of Camp Kidney's post office as shown in the episode Boxing Edward.

In Creep Crawly Campy, Samson lost all his fur after Raj brought a flock of bugs into camp causing some disturbance to the other campers. He gained it back the next day. In Scoop of the Century, Samson made a toothbrush sculpture out of toothpicks. This became the main issue of The Weekly Bean, the Bean Scouts' newspaper.

Samson also seems to have some sort of rivalry with Raj, as seen in several episodes he has been in. For instance, in Hot Springs Fever, the two had a bitter argument over who owned a hot spring; yet later they decided to share it. Strange Trout from Outer Space, a Cartoon Network Invaded special episode, greatly shows Samson's rivalry with Raj, as he states that he wants to catch an alien to prove Raj wrong, for Raj believed that Samson has only gone crazy after he was abducted by aliens. The rivalry is shown again when the only campers who believe him are background characters without names (who were actually the aliens in disguise) and Raj says "You think it makes a difference if those baise-background characters believe you? Surely you can do better than that!"

Samson is voiced by Jeff Bennett.

Chip and Skip

File:Chip y Skip.JPG
Chip and Skip

Chip and Skip are two clueless, dirt-loving dung beetle brothers. Skip is the one who wears a band so that the audience can tell who's who. Also, Chip voice is lower then Skip's. They are usually the ones who help Edward carry out his schemes (Not knowing what's really going on). They don't realize that they stink because they have no noses.

They're the easiest scouts at Camp Kidney to spot because they're constantly being followed by a big cloud of fruit flies (similar to Pig-Pen in the Peanuts comics) that they got from Lazlo as revealed in the movie, Where's Lazlo and they apparently fall into a comatose state for one hundred years when they are clean.

They live in Pinto Cabin along with Edward. In "Irreconcilable Dungfrences" it is revealed that Skip is three seconds older than Chip. Also Raj says that even their arguments don't even make sense. The ironic thing about them is they appear to be dim-witted, but they are in the Genius Society. In the episode Waiting For Edward, they actually do turn into geniuses but only because they were upside down for a long time and most of their blood went to their brains. Among the astonishing things they did there include mending Samson's telescope, developed a growth-enhancing liquid, answering several questions from some Bean Scouts, creating a computer out of twigs and clay, and freeing themselves magically from being hung.

In the episode, Spacemates, they were the only Bean Scouts seen. In that episode, they are believed by Nina to be her soul-mates as result from a cult board game. In the episode A Job Well Dung, it is revealed that they both apparently have the ability to summon filth and scum to themselves, and that they live with and are cared for by 3 nannies.

Both are voiced by Steve Little.

Dave and Ping Pong

File:Davepingpong.JPG
Dave and Ping Pong

Dave and Ping Pong are two identical twin loons except that Ping Pong is taller.

"Madame Lazlo" correctly predicted that Ping Pong was allergic to his predictions, but this only happened because Clam was absent-mindedly waving the feather fan at Ping Pong's nose, making him sneeze, as seen in the episode, Wig of Why.

They are usually seen saying or mumbling about some boring topic. It is hinted in "The Nothing Club" that they were originally going to be named Ping and Pong, but apparently the idea was scrapped. When all beans have joined the Nothing Club of Lazlo, one of them can be seen spinning on his head. They're both part of Fava Cabin with Samson.

It hinted that both Dave and Ping Pong are the publishers for the camp yearbook, as seen in the episode, Camp Samson. It is implied that they are smart, as they are most of the time talking "nerdy",and usually discussing something that is usually high school level. Whenever they are seen one of them say something then the other says "That seems logical."

In "The Scoop of the Century", it is revealed that Dave and Ping Pong are in charge of the Camp Kidney Newspaper, "The Weekly Bean", which was renamed to "The Bean."

Both are voiced by Doug Lawrence

The Lemming Quadruplets

File:Lemings.jpg
Lemmings

The Lemmings are teal-colored and black eye colored lemming quadruplets. The Lemmings live in Soy cabin. They are named Larry, Leonard, Louie, and Liniment.

In "It's No Picnic" they carried eliminated contestants from the pine cone sitting contest with a stretcher, and carry canoes in "Parasitic Pal" and "Float Trippers" can also be briefly seen in "Gone Fishin' (Sort Of)" carrying a cow, and yet again in another episode carrying a log in the restaurant "Beef Lumberjacks". Meanwhile, they all ran away from Lazlo in "The Nothing Club" when he approached them. They are seen in "Creepy Crawly Campy" under water with snorkels.

However, there have been cases of more than the four previously mentioned and are oddly purple in random episodes. When Edward tries to pants one of them all of their pants come down at once.

It is revealed that they have two moms and two dads. Hence the announcement that the winners of the parents day relay are Mr. and Mrs. and Mr. and Mrs. Lemming: Parent's Day and are apparently good singers.

All four of their voices are done by Steve Little.

Camp Kidney Staff

Scoutmaster Algonquin C. Lumpus

File:Lumpus.jpg

Lumpus (pronounced Loompus, voiced by Tom Kenny) is an angry, stick-in-the-mud moose with a big ego. His last name is always mispronounced by everyone (except Raj, and sometimes Slinkman - he only mispronounces it in Lumpus' absence). Everyone else refers to him as Scoutmaster "Lump-us". Everything has to be exactly how he likes and wants it to be or he becomes enraged. He is always in a bad mood, and this horrible disposition could have been caused by his parents' failure to visit him at camp and tell him that they love him or even show any signs of caring about him. One of the only things that makes Scoutmaster Lumpus happy is doing whatever he can to ruin the fun for the other scouts, which usually is stealing anything "fun" from them due to that having them "is against camp rules", yet keeps them for himself afterwards.

Lumpus wants to be Head Scout Leader, but is "stuck" in his job running Camp Kidney (where he lives year-round). He is always making sure that no one — especially his least-favorite Bean Scout, Lazlo, and the rest of Jelly Bean Cabin — have any fun. His hatred towards Lazlo is fuled between Lazlo's extreme happy-go-lucky nature and his constant destruction of anything Lumpus wants done his way.

Lumpus has a crush on Squirrel Scout leader Ms. Jane Doe, who is totally oblivious to his constant attempts to take her out on a date. Nobody, however, knows Lumpus's secret: he loves playing with dolls, and has a collection of them stashed in his closet. He is a member of a secretive club called the "Legume Council", and desires to be Grand Legume. He is also allergic to dust.

Lumpus had a ritual of visiting an old site near the camp where his grandfather, General Sherman B. Lumpus, had fought in and won a battle, later to be revealed by Slinkman (when Lumpus isn't around) that after an attempt to scam his fellow troops, General Lumpus was attacked by his own men and ended up rolling down the mountain into a parade. He was last seen cleaning up after the elephants.

Scoutmaster Lumpus hates almost everyone, and lacks any kind of social skills. His disrespectful nature is usually targeted towards Slinkman, and does whatever he wishes to make Slinkman's life as miserable as his, despite the fact that he truly likes Slinkman deep-down and considers Slinkman his friend. The only individual he shows any respect towards is Commander Hoo Ha, due to Hoo Ha being his boss and the fact that he plain intimidates Lumpus.

Lumpus seems to be pranked also. In Beans and Pranks, he uses Slinkman to find out if the Jelly Bean Scouts are trying to prank him. In the end, when Lumpus learned it was Slinkamn who was pranking him in his birthday, he retaliates on him by pulling a prank, via punching glove inside Slinkman's present.

Lumpus seems to be more childish than the Bean Scouts, at times. He likes to watch little boy movies like "Mr. Cotton Goes to Bubble Land" or drink his "milky-wilky".

Lumpus is also an excellent bowler. He would make a strike quite often that he once made a perfect game. Eventually, he would lose his touch by getting disturbed from Lazlo's persistent digging.

Slinkman

File:Banano.JPG
Slugman

Slinkman (also known as Mr. Slinkman as referred to by some of the scouts) is a quiet, nervous banana slug in the fictional camp of Camp Kidney. Like a real slug, Slinkman is an invertebrate organism.

He went under the alias Boris, Lumpus' nephew.[1] He knows the Bean Scout manual cover-to-cover, is loyal, kind, obedient and generally keeps the camp running despite Scoutmaster Lumpus' frequent hissyfits and constant laziness. Slinkman generally assumes a submissive role, doing nearly everything for Lumpus and obeying his every command. Often, Slinkman would care more about the rules than caring about a camper's feelings. There have been a handful of situations where Slinkman stands up to Lumpus, such as when he wanted to go to "Slugfest" but Lumpus wouldn't permit it, until Slinkman went berserk and wrecked all of Lumpus' possessions, belched into the camp PA system, & licked Lumpus' hands, getting slug slime all over them.

However, these instances are the exception, and are usually only when Slinkman's compliant, non-confrontational nature is pushed to the limit. Slinkman has to do a lot of things, but he does love kids, particularly those of Jelly Bean Cabin, and sometimes acts like one of them. He's a master at shadow puppets, complete with an imitation of Scoutmaster Lumpus, a good prankster, and is also a race car aficionado. It was discovered in Slugfest that Scoutmaster Lumpus actually enjoys hanging out with Slinkman since he has worked for five years under Scoutmaster Lumpus. In "Beans and Pranks", we find out that Slinkman has been pranking on Lumpus every June 9, because that is Slinkman's birthday and Lumpus forgets each year (in the end, he was punched with his present given by Lumpus as revenge for pranking him). As revealed in The Battle of Pimpleback Mountain, Slinkman hits Scoutmaster Lumpus with a full moon frying pan when he has his "episodes." Also revealed in Dead Bean Drop, Slinkman used to be a daredevil named Super Slug. He succeeded Dead Bean Drop, but fell and ended up in a time capsule with Lumpus and they were free in 2031 in the future with Chip & Skip, because of this, Dead Bean Drop should be considered non-canon.

It is revealed in Tree Hugger that he has a toy of some sort named Mr. Squishy. Also Slinkman was a Bean Scout with Lumpus 15 years ago. Slinkman apparently knows some wood gnomes which he plays poker with on Tuesdays and often uses them to scare the scouts, as shown during the credits of the episode "There's No Place Like Gnome/ Hot Spring Fever". In the first few seasons, Slinkman always carried around a clipboard, saying, "Yes Sir", almost everytime Slinkman was told by Lumpus to do something while carrying a clipboard. He later abandons it, and says, "Yes sir", less and less as the series progresses, eventually getting to the point of rarely saying it or not saying it at all. Slinkman can run as fast as all the other characters, and possibly faster, while ironically being a slug. He was a replacement for Jane Doe while she was away, and ends up having the same personality (like Lumpus) after him being treated unfairly by the Squirrel Scouts-but when they were in real danger, Slinkman realized he was behaving like Lumpus and after reverting to his normal self, saved the squrriel scouts Slinkman has a quote and he continually says, "Hey man how's it goin?" Lumpus gets aggravated because of this.

When boating around the Squirrels Scouts' camp, Slinkman and Lumpus were often a prey to the watermelons thrown by Ms. Mucus as seen in It's No Picnic. Later in 7 Deadly Sandwiches, Slinkman learned to counter them by smashing with a baseball bat.

Commander Hoo Ha

File:Hoohaw.JPG
Commander Hoo Ha

Commander Hoo Ha is a buffalo whose name comes from the military exclamation "Hoo-ha" (or "Hoo-rah"). He is the true leader of Camp Kidney. He usually only comes when he is called (usually on the phone) by Slinkman. He gives inspections which brings the whole camp into a nervous wreck, and before hand was only mentioned in the series. The penalty for failing his camp inspection is no clean underwear for a year. He often uses the word "Fabulous." Commander Hoo Ha's episode appearances are The Weakest Link (in the end), Movie Night (seen only in the thought cloud of Lumpus in the beginning) and The Big Cheese (heard on the phone and seen towards the end) and Handy Helper. He also appeared in Tomato Paste, Beany Weenies, Valentine's Day, and A Job Well Dung, but with a different look. It seems that he doesn't know Slinkman's name because keeps calling him "Slugman" (which Slinkman tries to correct, only to no avail). In the episode, Valentine's Day, it is revealed that he is Patsy's father. Lazlo seems to be his favorite scout, as seen in Beany Weenies, and the short, Nudist Camp. The insignia on Commander Hoo Ha's arm reveals him to be a staff seargent. A commader is a rank in the navy, but he has the personality of someone in the army. He is Voiced by Jeff Bennett.

Chef Heimlich McMuesli

Chef McMuseli is Camp Kidney's goat cook. As we can tell from the episodes "Meatman", "Beans and Weenies", and "Temper Tee Pee", McMuesli appears to be a hippie of sorts. He's a vegan, he drives a hippie van (complete with the "Flower-Power" theme - prior to Fillmore of Cars) and likes to serve the campers healthy foods and meals. His cooking apparently does not result in tasty food;campers dislike his meals to the point where the scouts turn green when they see his tofu dogs or celebrating when he could not make his tomato surprise. He's rather cheerful but also seems to be rather impatient at times, as demonstrated in the above episodes when his meals are made fun of by Lazlo, or when Clam sprays goop everywhere. In "Dead Bean Drop", for some reason he had a dull look on his face. He is revealed to be poet in "Miss Fru Fru" when Gretchen read a poem by him about trees, and confiscates soda cans and junk food from the scouts. His reasons are "Soda is for losers" and "Only junkheads eat junk food". "Temper Tee Pee" reveals that he has neck long brown hair under his hat. Voiced by Carlos Alazraqui.

Nurse Leslie

File:Leslie.JPG
Nurse Leslie with Lazlo

Nurse Leslie is a pink nurse shark. That may be a pun on his job. He is Camp Kidney's nurse. He's usually seen with a cup of coffee in his hand and a rather bored expression on his face, and his first smile was in Bear-ly a Vacation. There, he has a bag which plays a certain music when opened which is something he got tired of. He tends to all the campers' ailments and issues excuses when necessary. It is very apparent that he hates his job and doesn't like dealing with the bean scouts and also can't stand waiting room music, which he doesn't know where it's from. He's also not very skilled with the job, one example being when Lazlo had a leech on his head, and when Nurse Leslie saw the x-ray of the leech drinking Lazlo's blood, he still told Lazlo it looked fine to him. He never walks from place to place, instead propelling himself using a swivel chair that he always sits on. In fact, he's been on a swivel chair for years and has lost his leg strength. In some episodes he has a sea-green eye and a white eye, while in others he has two white eyes. Doug Lawrence provides the voice for him.

Lifeguards Pierre and No-Neck

File:Pierrenoneck.JPG
Pierre and No-Neck

Pierre and No-Neck are identical otters. They are Camp Kidney's lifeguards who assign swimming buddies based on how they do in a test. The two have no idea how to swim, and No-Neck has no neck but really they both look the same. The name Pierre is a French name, suggesting Pierre and No-Neck are from France or from Quebec, a French-speaking province of Canada. They are only seen in Swimming Buddy and Parasitic Pal. In Swimming Buddy they're orange, but in Parasitic Pal, they are purple for some reason. Pierre is voiced by Jeff Bennett and No-Neck is voiced by Carlos Alazraqui.

Main Squirrel Scouts

Patsy Smiles

File:Patsysmiles.jpg
Patsy, the Squirrel Scouts' leader

Patsy Smiles is a cute, upbeat, and chipper mongoose who has a major-league crush on Lazlo and will jump on him at any chance she gets.

She can be easily irritated. In Snake Eyes, she claimed to be experienced in Martial arts. Through she confessed shortly that they're all just lies in attempt to impress Lazlo. She loves snail bathing, and can be tomboyish sometimes (possibly inherited such behavior from her father). Patsy enjoys reading scary stories to her friends, because she likes scaring people.

With the exception of her scoutmistress, it is likely that she is the leader of the Squirrel Scouts. This is due to fact that she's often in command and the other girls follow her as shown in Beans Are From Mars, Dosey Doe, and Marshmallow Jones.

In the episode Valentine's Day, it has been revealed that Patsy and Commander Hoo-Ha are related as father and daughter. She is also a terrific Southpaw boxer and knocks out the entire Bean Scout Troop, though it was against her own will.

In the earlier episodes of the show, Patsy and the Squirrel Scouts were kind of like enemies towards the Bean Scouts. The episode Dosey Doe is most definitely the last sign. Beyond that, they are good neighbors for most of the time. She also likes to flirt sometimes with Lazlo. It should be noted that while she considers Gretchen as a very good friend of hers, they do seem to have a bit of a semi-rivalry with each other, as seen on certain occasions throughout the series; though Gretchen did help Patsy with getting Nina, another one of her friends, back from a trio of aliens in Cheese Orbs, a Cartoon Network Invaded special episode.

The most noticeable characteristic of Patsy is her crush on Lazlo, as seen in several of the episodes she has been in. Again in the episode Cheese Orbs reveals that she is apparently allergic to cheese; despite the greatly conflicting fact that she was seen eating a grilled cheese sandwich in the beginning of I've Never Bean in a Sub (perhaps her allergy was discovered after the episode).

Patsy is voiced by Jodi Benson.

Nina Neckerly

File:Ninanecklery.jpg
Nina

Nina is a scholarly giraffe who is best friends with Patsy and Gretchen.

She has red hair, wears a bluish green hat, glasses, a blue dress with an orange-red badge sash and brown shoes. She lives at Acorn Flats with her Scoutmistress and the other girls. She is the tallest Squirrel Scout. She's also the second friendliest to the Bean Scouts, with Patsy as the first friendliest.

She has a penchant for science fiction books and comics and is frequently seen reading one. Her favorite magazine to read is Tales to Stupefy as shown in Burpless Bean. Nina was also the only Squirrel Scout seen in that episode. She was the co-founder of Lazlo's Nothing Club and was again the only Squirrel Scout seen in attendance. She danced with Lazlo there. In Dosey Doe, she danced with Raj.

She believed her soulmates are Chip and Skip due to a result from a board game. She also has talent for unicycling as seen in Miss Fru Fru. In that episode, Nina's solo act in the pageant was portraying an air traffic controller. After she and the other Squirrel Scouts mistook the meaning of the pageant for something that would enable them to fly, Nina became the first to attempt to do so. In the end, she went airborne for a moment but splatted on the floor.

Nina is voiced by Jill Talley.

Gretchen

File:Gretchen.jpg
Gretchen strangling Lazlo.

Gretchen is an aggressive and perpetually irritable and angry alligator. She rounds out the trio of main Squirrel Scouts. Among the Squirrel Scouts, she is the most tomboyish. She and Ms. Mucus have one thing in common; they both despise Bean Scouts.

She also has been known to help the Squirrel Scouts win tug-of-war against the Bean Scouts through dirty tricks (mentioned by Edward in Love Sick). Clam once had a huge crush on her when he caught lovesickness.

In Loogie Llama she's also seen riding on a horse with her friends.

However, she has a crush on Edward (mentioned by Patsy in the episode Squirrel Seats and hinted at in Temper Tee Pee). She argued with him in Taking Care of Gretchen but seemed to enjoy it. It should be noted that she and Patsy do seem to have an on and off semi-rivalry with each other; though she did help Patsy get Nina back from a trio of aliens in Cheese Orbs, a Cartoon Network Invaded special episode.

It turns out that in, again Taking Care of Gretchen that she has a grandmother as she's jumping over a swamp in a race against Edward. Although she hates Bean Scouts like Lazlo, she did showed a bit of generosity for him in Hard Days Samson.

Gretchen is voiced by Jill Talley.

Acorn Flats Staff

Ms. Jane Doe

File:Msjanedoe.jpg
Jane with three Squirrel Scouts.

Jane Doe is one of the leaders of the Squirrel Scouts, Jane Doe is a ditzy and scatterbrained doe, who is completely oblivious to Scoutmaster Lumpus' infatuation of her.

She lives in Acorn Flats with her scouts and assistant, Miss Rubella Mucus. She is girly and tries to be a feminine influence on the Squirrel Scouts.

Jane Doe first appeared in Gone Fishin' (Sort Of). She's often seen with a positive expression though she can also get frustrated as shown in Miss Fru Fru. There, it is revealed that she won a beauty pageant but only because she was the only one in contention. She's also talented in doing unicycling, juggling and plate-spinning simultaneously.

She almost died by eating a sandwich made with poisonous berries, but saved by Lumpus in Seven Deadly Sandwiches. She is the head of the Rock Buckskin Fan Club, of which the only other member is Almondine.

Ms. Jane Doe is voiced by Jodi Benson.

Ms. Rubella Mucus

File:Mucus.JPG
Ms. Mucus

Ms. Rubella Mucus is a warthog who hates the Bean Scouts. In Boxing Edward, she claims Bean Scouts are "bitter, dim, and crude". Because of this, she is most likely the reason why some Squirrel Scouts tend to have a hate towards Bean Scouts in spite of having a very nice Scout mistress.

She is Ms. Jane Doe's assistant, with a type of Southern accent. In the episode Beany Weenies, Ms. Mucus actually planned on shutting down Camp Kidney by making them fail their physical test. She is also the person who blows the bugle for the Squirrel scouts to wake up and leads them in their morning routines.

She is portrayed as a large and angry, stereotypical redneck woman. She lives in trailer and hoardes any Bean Scout toy that comes near it. In Beans In Toyland, an inside room looked girlish and childish and was filled with toys but in Squirrel Scout Slinkman, it was like an office with her desk and a large portrait of herself in the NS.

She has a showdown with the Jelly Bean trio in Beans in Toyland where it is revealed that she is extremely afraid of Bean Scout socks. It is also revealed that she can cook cookies using a chainsaw (as a batter), and a car tire (as a dougher). She can carry a taxi with passengers and owns a plaque which reads "Tough Enough to Do it Right."

In Wig of Why, it is revealed that her hair is actually a wig. She took it off before taking a swim in a lake and is taken by Lazlo. She later comes in a police car to find it with Lumpus as a ballerina due to Lazlo's prediction. In Mascot Madness, it was revealed she is Acorn Flats' camp mascot.

In 7 Deadly Sandwiches, she served as the organist for the Bean Scouts' theater. This is quite ironical for someone who despises Beans Scout to do something for them. She's also the scarecrow for Acorn Flats' sunflower garden as shown in Boxing Edward. Oppositely to Jane Doe, She's rarely seen happy.

Ms. Mucus is voiced by Jill Talley.

Other Bean Scouts

The other bean scouts other than Lazlo and those above. They were referred to by Lumpus and the other Beans as "The Bean Scouts no one cares about." They occasionally appear though they have fewer speeches.

Milt/Sheldon

Sheldon is a blue hippo scout from Camp Kidney who lost his dignity the most. The skill he did for the talent show in "Burpless Bean" was just simply throwing a red ball from one hand to the other without looking. Apparently in Campers All Pull Pants Down he is Milt but in Burpless Bean he is known as Sheldon. Sheldon could be his nickname. Another possibility is that he might be twins of those names (though both are not present at the same time). A third possibility is that Slinkman and Lazlo probably don't know this scout's name too well. He was seen playing baseball at the beginning of Radio Free Edward. He was also seen playing checkers with Patsy in Temper Tee Pee. He is also seen in a cartoon network movie promo where he and other characters were bothered because Kaz (of Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi) had his phone ringing. He is voiced by Mr. Lawrence.

Chuck/Ted

Chuck is a little pink pig scout from Camp Kidney whose name was revealed when Edward was pantsing everyone in Camper Pull All Pants Down. In Burpless Bean, Chuck was the one doing the drum rolls during the acts of talent show. In Valentines Day, he was shown as a magical pig with two heads conjoined, but it could possilbly be another bean scout since Ted was seen in earlier episodes looking like the rest of the bean scouts without being magic. His two-bodied self could also create a rainbow trail. But in "Scoop of the Century" when Lumpus made name tags for the minor bean scouts, it is revealed that his his name is Ted. He is voiced by Tom Kenny or Jeff Bennett.

Norman

Norman is a whitish bighorn sheep scout from Camp Kidney. He appears in "Dosey Doe", when girls from Acorn Flats arrived to the party. In this episode, he is seen with Fred, Gordon and Sheldon. He is also seen in the episode, "Waiting for Edward" along with the other main Bean Scouts and asking Chip & Skip a huge number question, and "Prodigeous Clamus", but only as a background character in the Mess Hall. Voiced by Carlos Alazraqui.

Fred

Fred is a dark blue walrus scout from Camp Kidney. Raj says his name is Harold, although Fred tells him that's not his name. In Tusk Wizard, Raj invites him for fishing then secretly tries to cut his tusks out so he could see the so-called Tusk Wizard at night. He speaks in a country/southern drawl. Fred hosts the early evening block of the Camp Kidney Radio station, which is named Freddy, implying that his name is Fred. Also in that episode, he uses a very deep voice when broadcasting. In Waiting For Edward, Fred bested Edward in a checkers game. In Hello SMITS its me Samson, he was showing a picture of his mom to Dave when Samson took it away. In Strange Trout from Outer Space, an alien copied him in order to fool Samson. Fred is voiced by Steve Little.

Gordon/Eddie

Gordon is a dark brown bear scout from Camp Kidney. According to Edward he doesn't have a name and he's not supposed to speak, as revealed in Camp Samson. His name was revealed while Edward was pantsing everyone in Campers All Pull Pants Down. Even when he is not suppose to speak he still does. The episode he talks in is Hot Spring Fever when Raj and Samson are racing to camp. Eddie/Gordon is sitting on a rock with Bill saying "Aren't old people marvelous?" because Samson and Raj were shriveled up because they were in the spring too long. He is also shown in Radio Free Edward that he schedules the radio blocks. In the episode Scoop of the Century, Lumpus calls him Eddie revealed if you have Closed Captions 1 on after Raj tells Lumpus that he needs 5 beads to buy 'The Bean!' he shakes Eddie and gets 5 of his beads. In Strange Trout from Outer Space, he was copied by an alien to fool Samson. Voiced by Carlos Alazraqui.

Wilbert

Wilbert is a light brown beaver scout from Camp Kidney. In "Tree Hugger", Scoutmaster Lumpus tried using him as a chain saw to cut down the Migrating Mulberry Tree, starting him by pulling on his tail. It was also revealed at the same time that he wears a retainer. He was also seen helping Edward, Chip, Skip, and Samson at Old Geezer Geyser to get in the bus before the girls do. He was also seen in "No Beads, No Business" finding a free bag of chips Raj threw. In Strange Trout from Outer Space, he was copied by an alien to fool Samson. He is voiced by Tom Kenny.

Mort

Mort is a very lightish gray pelican scout from Camp Kidney. His name was revealed while Edward was pantsing everyone. He was also shown at the end credits of "Hold It Lazlo" talking to Edward. He was also seen in "Hot Spring Fever" playing paddleball. He, Ignatious, and Bill were playing music for Samson in "Hello SMITS its me Samson".

Bill

Bill is a light periwinkle aardvark scout from Camp Kidney. In Campers All Pull Pants Down, when talked to the other Beans Scouts about how Edward pantsed him, he is seen teary-eyed. He has a little bit off accent. He, Mort, and Ignatious were playing music for Samson in Are You There S.M.I.T.S.? It's me Samson. Bill was playing a violin. He is voiced by Jeff Bennett.

Ignatious

Ignatious is a light grayish hedgehog scout from Camp Kidney. He was seen for a second in "Parasitic Pal" when Lazlo was zooming on the wagon off the dock in slow motion. He, Mort, and Bill played music for Samson in "Are You There S.M.I.T.S.? It's me Samson". He also made a cameo in "Mascot Madness" when Samson was auditioning as a penguin, he was standing beside him opening a soda can. He is voiced by Jeff Bennett.

Lemuel

Lemuel is a light grayish opossum scout from Camp Kidney. He, Samson, and Scoutmaster Lumpus are the only ones that wear glasses at Camp Kidney. He kinda looks like Samson only with lighter fur, and he is an oppossum. He was seen helping Samson chew his food in "Are You There S.M.I.T.S.? It's me Samson". He was also seen in "Radio Free Edward" in the Mess Hall making Cartwheels during the radio song.

Larrison

Larrison is a grayish stork scout from Camp Kidney. In "Campers All Pull Pants Down" he was shown playing basketball when Edward pants him. Larrison was also seen in "Tusk Wizard" with Sheldon/Milt talking to Fred about how he gets to hang out with Raj. In "Radio Free Edward" he was seen riding a boat with the Lemmings. He is voiced by Tom Kenny.

Maggot

A maggot scout that was featured only in "Valentines Day" as a pun when Commander Hoo-Ha was calling the scouts "maggots". His name is unknown. He is also possibly just a one time character as a joke for the episode. He was voiced by Carlos Alazraqui.

Kirkpatrick

Kirkpatrick is an off white persian cat scout from Camp Kidney. He was seen briefly in "Campers All Pull Pants Down". He was also seen fleeing from the mess hall in "Parastic Pal". He is the most rarely seen bean scout. He is about the same height as Gordon. He is voiced by Jeff Bennett.

Other Squirrel Scouts

Almondine

File:Almondine.png

Almondine is a wise beige owl scout from Acorn Flats. She has dark brown hair, has glasses just like Nina and the general stereotypical nerd appearance. She's the most commonly seen secondary Squirrel Scout. In It's No Picnic episode, she met the Bean Scouts' scoutmaster and called him "Lompus", instead "Lumpus". She was also one of the Squirrel Scouts who competed in the tug-of-war competition. Dosey Doe, she danced with Samson and was well-introduced there. In I've Never Bean In a Sub, she, Amber and Gretchen do the accounting in the cookie business. When the Squirrel Scouts put up a show to prevent their scoutmistress from leaving Acorn Flats, Almondine serves as the announcer in Miss Fru Fru. It is known that she loves mathematics, and she also enjoys theater. Her favorite actor is Rock Buckskin as shown in 7 Deadly Sandwiches. However, she feels that his latest flop, "Caribbean Caribou Two: Back in Action" really had no plot. She is the only Squirrel Scout whose a member of the Rock Buckskin Fan Club, of which is led by Jane Doe. She's also the only Squirrel Scout seen in the episode. She also helps Patsy, Nina, and Gretchen steal Camp Kidney's parade float in the episode Lazlo Loves a Parade, She also appears in Hard Days Samson, Temper Tee Pee, Squirrel Scout Slinkman and Taking Care of Gretchen. Almondine is voiced by Jodi Benson.

Toodie

File:Toodie.png

Toodie is the little light gray squirrel with 'tall', dark purple hair. She is the smallest Squirrel Scout. She lives at Acorn Flats with her Scoutmistress and the other girls. She made her first appearance in It's No Picnic and her name was mentioned in Love Sick. However, she was well-introduced in Lazlo Loves a Parade.

Toodie usually coordinates the activities for the Prickly Pines. In It's No Picnic episode Toodie helps Ms. Rubella Mucus and her friends at throwing out watermelons at trespassers. When most of the campers went up a tree in Snake Eyes, Toodie is seen sitting next to Slinkman. She isn't seen speaking much, though she is seen singing in Squirrel Seats. Though her hair is usually purple, it was once pink in Temper Tee Pee. Her injury in Lazlo Loves a Parade cause the Squirrel Scouts to be delayed in preparing for the float competition which led them to pilferage. She is also seen in Dosey Doe, Miss Fru Fru, Love Sick, Hard Days Samson, Squirrel Scout Slinkman and Taking Care of Gretchen. She is voiced by Tara Strong.

Amber

Amber is a light grey-blue rabbit scout from Acorn Flats. She has curly light pink hair. She lives at Acorn Flats with her Scoutmistress and the other Squirrel Scouts. She made her debut in It's No Picnic though she was properly introduced in Dosey Doe.

In It's No Picnic, Amber is seen with Almondine and Suzie. In this episode, she met the Bean Scouts' scoutmaster and called him "Lompus" instead "Lumpus". In Dosey Doe, Amber is seen with Honey and the poodle scout. Though nobody considers the likes of Chip and Skip smelly, Amber appears to be an exception. In Marshmallow Jones, she is seen with Patsy, Nina, Gretchen and Almondine. When Raj imagines himself being a disk jockey in The Nothing Club, Amber is seen watching him closely, hinting a crush from Raj. In I've Never Bean In a Sub, Amber works as an accountant for the Squirrel Scouts' cookie selling business. She is seen jumping rope with Almondine in Beany Weenies. Amber is also seen in Squirrel Seats, Hard Days Samson, Squirrel Scout Slinkman and Taking Care of Gretchen. Amber is voiced by Tara Strong and sometimes, Jill Talley.

Honey

File:Honey.png

Honey is a light brown bear scout from Acorn Flats. She is the Squirrel Scout with curly light blond hair. She lives at Acorn Flats with her Scoutmistress and the other girls. She was first seen in It's No Picnic but introduced well in Miss Fru Fru.

In It's No Picnic, she is seen with Patsy, Nina, Gretchen, Amber, Almondine and the poodle scout. In Dosey Doe, she danced with Edward the Platypus. While coming into the dance party held in the Bean Scouts' mess hall, Honey considered it "A chump dump." Although the party ended in an explosion, she and the some of her fellow scouts apparently approved it. Her remark to that was "That was like so cool!" In Love Sick, Honey joined Patsy, Nina, Almondine and Gretchen in the tug-of-war event. In Miss Fru Fru, she was one of those who performed in the pageant staged in attempt to keep Jane Doe in their camp. Her solo act there is tossing a suit case in the pavement causing its contents to be pop out. She is seen singing next to Toodie in Squirrel Seats. When Toodie had an accident in Lazlo Loves a Parade, Honey became her replacement in dealing with the activities. There is a possibility that she may be the dimwitted Squirrel Scout (Maybe even to the point of mental retardation), for it was hinted on that episode. Honey is also seen in Temper Tee Pee, Squirrel Scout Slinkman and Taking Care of Gretchen. She is voiced by Tara Strong and sometimes, Jill Talley.

Unnamed Squirrel Scout 1

File:Thepoodlescout.png

The first nameless Squirrel Scout is purple-grey poodle scout from Acorn Flats. She is the Squirrel Scout with black hair. She wears a blue dress with a light pink sweater vest and brown shoes. She lives at Acorn Flats with her Scoutmistress and other girls.

In It's No Picnic, she is seen with Amber and Almondine. In this episode, she called Scoutmaster Lumpus "Lompus". In Dosey Doe (the episode where she perhaps made the most appearances), when Patsy and Gretchen catapulted Raj and Clam back to Camp Kidney, the poodle scout is seen watching in the background. When entering the dance party, she is seen with Amber and Honey. There, she danced with one of the Lemmings. In Snake Eyes, when a lot of campers went up a tree trying to avoid a snake, she and some other scouts are seen sitting on the branches. She played tennis with Nina in Beanie Weenies and with Patsy in Squirrel Scout Slinkman. She also appears in Miss Fru Fru, Love Sick, Squirrel Seats and Taking Care of Gretchen. Tara Strong usually voices the poodle scout, and Jill Talley sometimes provides her voices.

Unnamed Squirrel Scout 2

File:Thetapirscout.png

The second nameless Squirrel Scout is a fat light green tapir scout from Acorn Flats. She is the Squirrel Scout with curly bright pink hair. She wears a blue dress with a red band like Nina, instead of a vest. She lives at Acorn Flats with her Scoutmistress and other girls. In It's No Picnic, she helps Toodie, the gopher scout and Ms. Mucus in throwing out the watermelons at instruders. In Dosey Doe she's also seen next to the Gopher Scout. She is also seen in Squirrel Seats, Hard Days Samson and Squirrel Scout Slinkman. She is usually voiced by Tara Strong and sometimes Jill Talley.

Unnamed Squirrel Scout 3

File:Thegopherscout.png

The third nameless Squirrel Scout is a red haired gopher scout from Acorn Flats. She is the second tallest (after Nina) Squirrel Scout. In It's No Picnic, she is seen helping Toodie, the tapir and Ms. Mucus throwing watermelons at anyone at the vicinity of their camp. She is also seen entering the Bean Scouts' mess hall with other Squirrel Scouts in Dosey Doe. She normally appears with the others in episodes such as Squirrel Scout Slinkman, Hard Days Samson and Taking Care of Gretchen. She is the most hardly seen Squirrel Scout, mostly like the hardly seen Bean Scout Kirkpatrick. She is voiced by Tara Strong or Jill Talley.
