Perhaps this isn't the place for you
Please don't misunderstand, your contributions will be more than welcome. However, it is possible that you are editing with the wrong goal in mind, as I've observed on your last couple edits. The thing is, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and as such it's goal is to become encyclopedic for all audiences, that means that we want our articles to effectively educate a reader who has no previous knowledge of a subject. That also means we have to eliminate WP:CRUFT lest the article become too confusing and overwhelming that it hinders it's reading clarity and ability to educate. If you are looking to edit an encyclopedia that is devoted to collecting all of the minutiae and trivial details that are important for FF afficiandos but not the average joe, then perhaps you should check out the Final Fantasy Wikia which is designed to be a complete collection of all information no matter how minute and trivial. But if you are to continue editing in Wikipedia (which again, you are more than welcome), then perhaps you should first read some of our guidelines and check out our WP:WELCOME page to see what we are all about. I'd also like to recommend reading WP:NOT which may help clarify this matter. You should also read WP:CIVIL while you are at it, since your responses to other editors have been somewhat less than polite. --—ΔαίδαλοςΣ 00:47, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
