Eastern Avenue is a stretch of the A12 in the London Borough of Redbridge, built in the mid-1920s.

It extends eastward from Wanstead tube station, past the Redbridge Roundabout and tube station, Gants Hill roundabout and tube station and Newbury Park tube station. The A12 then goes for a short distance through the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. As it crosses the borough boundary, it changes its name, confusingly, to Eastern Avenue West. It retains this name when it crosses into the London Borough of Havering, but eventually becomes Eastern Avenue East. It retains this name until Gallows Corner.
