User talk:Romeo in love
Welcome!
Hello Romeo in love, welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Our intro page contains a lot of helpful material for new users - please check it out! If you need help, visit Wikipedia:Questions or place {{helpme}}
on this page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. The William Shakespeare page is under close scrutiny from many editors at present, so please don't be discouraged because your point about couplets has been removed. It's now on the talk page for consideration. As the original poster, you would be the best person to start us off there! All the best. --Old Moonraker 17:49, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
Can I suggest you take a deep breath before adding sources to William Shakespeare?
At http://www.william-shakespeare.org.uk/death-william-shakespeare.htm, for example, they tell us:
- he died April 23rd 1616 at the age of 52
- The exact date of death is not known
Do you see my point? It's nonsense. The article will be judged by the quality of its sources, as much as by the fact that it has lots of them. AndyJones 19:32, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks. In fact, I think I'll suggest that we all slow down for a while. AndyJones 19:50, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
I notice that you are not yet an official member of the relatively new Shakespeare Wikiproject, which is devoted to bringing all Shakespeare article to FA standard. If you want to join, just add your signature to the list of members on the above link. We'd love to have you! Wrad 21:08, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
- Also, in case you haven't found it yet, the "Peer Review" we keep talking about is here: Wikipedia:Peer review/William Shakespeare. AndyJones 21:14, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
Nice name
I am a lifelong fan of Romeo and Juliet (see my edits to Romeo and Mercutio for proof), and I wish to compliment you on your name. Welcome to Wikiproject Shakespeare, and good luck to you. --BeastKing89 08:16, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
