I'm removing this list of "notable or influencial" vice presidents, as it seems to be completely arbitrary and subjective-- not to mention that some people on the list don't seem to be particularly notable at all. Coffee 17:00, 24 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect from "Vise President"

Does anyone think that "Vise President" should redirect here? A search for "Vise President" yields an almost random list of results, so people that cannot spell may not find this site at all. 130.20.74.174 21:14, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I understood that the distinction held by a vice president is that a vice president could legally bind the company in an agreement. That is the reason that certain organizations have so many vice presidents...the board of directors delegates that authority to vice presidents for financial transactions like mortgages, etc. Wikichief 21:28, 7 June 2007 (UTC)wikichief[reply]
