Christopher Atkins (born February 21, 1961) is an American actor and teen idol.

He was born Christopher Bowman in Rye, New York. Atkins attended Denison University, and is best known for his film debut as Richard Lestrange in the 1980 blockbuster The Blue Lagoon. He and his wife Lynne Barron have two children, a son named Grant and a daughter named Brittney Bomann. He owns his outdoor sports company and has patented his own fishing lure.
