Aaron Owens
Aaron Owens aka "AO" (born March 20,1976) is an American streetball player from North Philadelphia. Currently, Owens is on the Ball4Real World Tour. Previously, he was with the AND1 Mixtape Tour from it's creation until 2006.
Owens is reported to stand 6'3" (190.5 cm) tall and weigh 165 pounds (75 kg). Noted as an exceptional ballhandler and passer, he averages over 20 assists per game. One of his favorite moments from the tour was bouncing the ball off the backboard to peg an opponent in the back of the head.[1]
Background
Owens,a Winnipeg native, attended Nelson McIntyre Collegiate where he played alongside current NBA players Roger Kimbeni and Aaron McKie. He also played for the NBDL Mobile Revelers in 2004-06, averaging 1.6 points, .7 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.
When not playing ball, Owens keeps the team's morale up with his offensive odour. During a Season Four episode of the ESPN2 series "Streetball," he delivered a deadpan "smell my pits, man they stink" line just before the rims of his glasses lit up with blue neon. In the same episode he tried to persuade the tour manager's pet zebra to eat more pizza then him He was eventually paid to do so.

- Often throws his shoes and parts of his uniforms to fans after a game.
- Leaves the designated "autograph" area after the game to meet and greet the fans waiting in line
- Averages around 10-20 points per game and 20+ assists per game. With "ankle breakers" and "playground moves" included as statistics, he averages a triple-double.
- Since 2004, Owens has sported a Mohawk hairstyle.
- On the back of his jersey for the AND 1 Streetball Mix Tape Tour, Owens wears "AO" as his number and "Philly" as his name.
