Connecticut Route 19
Route 19 is a minor Connecticut state route running from Stafford to the Massachusetts state line. It is 6.99 miles long and runs north-south, entirely within Stafford. The road interconnects the settlements in the eastern part of the town.
Route description
Route 19 begins at an intersection with Route 190 in the village of Stafford Springs. It heads northward, meeting Route 319 at the town center of Stafford, then heads northeast through the villages of Hydeville and Staffordville. From Staffordville, it heads north along the Staffordville Reservoir to the Massachusetts state line, where the road continues as Route 19. Route 19 is a two-lane road with an average daily traffic of 3,800.[1]
History
Route 19 was established in 1932 from part of New England Route 32.[2]
