Batman: Mask of the Phantasm

The first movie from the creators of Batman: The Animated Series which uses the same styles and technique.

Plotline:

Bruce's old love Andrea Beuvemart reaches Gotham and rises forgoten memories. Met in the graveyard, Bruce menuvered between his will to fulfill his crime-fighting vow and his love to Andrea. Heartbroken after she rejected his proposal - he discovers a bat full of bats and becomes The Batman.

On the present, their is a new assassin in Gotham, dressed as the Death Angel and mounting a scythe-like claw on the right arm. Batman finds that all of this Phantasm victims were related to Andrea's father. The mob heads are fearing for their lives and hires the Joker to protect them while Batmaan have to escape the cops and stop the Phantasm.
