Extracurricular Activities
The Central Crossing High School Marching Band competes on a National Level and has attended the Grand Nationals Championship in Indianapolis, IN and Super Regionals in St. Louis, Missouri, among other places. The Band has placed 22nd in the nation and 2nd in its class. The Winter Guard has placed 1st and the Drumline has hit the 2nd place. Last season's show was Dance and by far was the most exciting for the class of 2007 and a great introduction to the freshmen.
The school has an NJROTC unit. It has 100 members and competes nationally in Drill and Rifle Meets.
The Central Crossing Comets sports teams include Soccer, Football, Vollyball, Golf, Wrestling, Basketball, Tennis, Baseball and Softball. There are also a Dance team and cheerleading.
The Student Council plans many events for the students, including Homecoming.
Also, 8 AP classes are available to students.
Staff
Currently, around 100 people call CCHS their employer, from janitors to lunch ladies to, of course, teachers.
