Duality is a collaborative work by Lisa Gerrard and Pieter Bourke released in 1998. It is sometimes said to be a Dead Can Dance album, but is not as Brendan Perry, who formed Dead Can Dance with Lisa Gerrard did not participate.

Overview

The beginning of the song "Shadow Magnet" will sound familiar to many because it influenced, in part, the music at the beginning of the Gladiator soundtrack (music by Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerrard).

The track "Nadir (Synchronicity)" was initially intended for use at the end of that film, however due to problems with copyright, a song 'influenced' by this track was used instead.
