Estadio Cuscatlán is a football stadium in San Salvador, El Salvador. It was built in 1976, refurbished in 1997 and early 2007, and holds 44,313.It is the home stadium of Alianza FC San Salvador F.C. and C.D. Luis Angel Firpo

Uses

The Estadio Cuscatlan is not only used for football, many concerts are held inside. he 2007 UNCAF Nations Cup was held in the estaddio cuscatlan.

History

When El Salvador went to their first World Cup, the national stadium was the was the Flor Blanca (Now known as Jorge "El Magico" Gonzalez. But seven years later the Estadio Cuscatlan would become the home pitch of the El Salvador national football team, nowadays the Estadio Cuscatlan is one of the best stadiums in Central America. In fact it has the best seating capacity (twice as much as the Estadio Matias Flores).
