Endodontidae is a family of gastropods, mostly found in the Pacific islands. Most of the species are terrestrial.
The family, which includes both snails and slugs, appears to have been much more diverse, but has declined due to human acivity. On American Samoa, some species are in decline due to predation by introduced ants. [1]
