Hello, welcome to Wikipedia. The articles you are adding to this site such as History of golf instruction and others appear to be copied from various websites. Unless you are the author of the original information and you are able to release it under the GFDL then these pages will need to be deleted. Please see Wikipedia:Copyrights for further information. Even if this is a copyright violation, we would still welcome any original contributions from you. See the instructions on how to edit a page for more info. Thanks. Angela 19:44, Sep 14, 2003 (UTC)
Please stop posting nearly unmodified stuff from e.g. [1] - if you would invest a bit more work these facts can be made into correct articles, like creating complete sentences. If you just continue to dump copied stuff from websites they will be deleted because of copyright violation, and nothing is won, only your as well as the time of the ones who need to clean up after you is lost. andy 20:16, 14 Sep 2003 (UTC)
This is your third warning. Wikipedia can not afford to risk the publication of copyrighted materials. Mike Brady for example is another one you have lifted straight off another website. It also should be noted that the posting of copyrighted material that does not have the express permission from the copyright holder is possibly illegal and is a violation of our policy. If you do this once more you will blocked from editing here. Angela 20:31, Sep 14, 2003 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
