Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to User:Fuzzy510, you will be blocked from editing. Dfrg.msc 06:54, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
- I realize you are frustrated, and I have been frustrated when similar things happened to me. However, I would ask you to try to address these problems in another way. I think you are a valuable asset here and I would hate to see you blocked.--Filll 18:00, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

CJinoz (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
Yes, I've been pretty uncivil... and yes I regret my actions. But I was given no warning that I was about to be blocked... I haven't done anything since the warning above. If someone does unblock me I'll promise I'm going to refrain from arguments with those I'm frustrated with and only work on some rote data-entry type articles until I've totally cooled off. If you unblock me and I don't keep that promise, you can clearly block me again...
Decline reason:
Warned here and here and you chose to blank those warnings. You were then warned and warned again. Yet you continued your uncivil behaviour. The block is more than appropriate. — Yamla 21:54, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- Fair enough, I deserve it. PageantUpdater 00:39, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
Blocks are for prevention... not punishment. If you still want unblocked and still promise not to be disruptive again, I'll unblock you. --W.marsh 00:43, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
- I do promise not to be disruptive, but I don't want to upset the apple cart if you unblock me. I'm continuing to work on articles by previewing them from this page and saving them in notepad so I can post them here later. Perhaps its best if I just keep doing that and serve out the block time. PageantUpdater 00:50, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
- I realize that PageantUpdater has let her frustration get the better of her, but I think she is an important contributor and I think she deserves another chance.--Filll 00:45, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
I have unblocked you. Obviously you're on de facto probation... at least for the next 24 hours or so, but if you keep your promise you should be fine. I also blanked your userpage since some of the stuff there was not really acceptable if you're sticking around. --W.marsh 01:06, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you. I tried reverting my user page earlier but found I couldn't because I was blocked (didn't realise the block extended to talk pages)... will fix that asap. PageantUpdater 01:24, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
- PS my ip address is still blocked. Will that fix itself or can you please fix that? PageantUpdater 01:25, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
- User:W.marsh has unblocked me under probation, but my IP address is still blocked. PageantUpdater 01:34, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
I unblocked the IP, see if that works. I'm not the most savvy at this kind of stuff... sorry. --W.marsh 01:38, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Shauna Sabir
Shauna Sabir has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt this person might not be notable enough for an article. Please review Wikipedia:Notability (people) for the relevant guidelines. If you can improve the article to address these concerns, please do so.
If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the "prod" template, the article may be deleted without further discussion. If you remove the prod template, the article will not be deleted, but if an editor is still not satisfied that it meets Wikipedia guidelines, it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. NickelShoe (Talk) 03:45, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
- Shalane Larango and Olivia Hubbard have also been proposed for deletion. WP:PRODSUM lists all articles currently proposed for deletion. NickelShoe (Talk) 03:49, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
Good to see you're back to your old self
Good to see you're back to your old self. Welcome back. I hope we never loose you again. --Abu badali (talk) 08:43, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
Welcome back
I'm happy you decided to stick around for a bit. I know how frustrating Wikipedia can be. That's why I only edit sporadically now, and don't log in every day. Having your work trashed when you've invested so much in it can be so demoralizing, can't it?
Anyway, if I can ever be of assistance, please let me know. Jeffpw 15:53, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
- I also would like to welcome you back. I just cringe when I see the attacks which you have had to endure. It can be very discouraging and I want you to know that I understand completely and I empathsize with you. Do not think that no one out here cares, because some of us do notice and we do care what happens to you and your efforts.--Filll 16:12, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
- Welcome back. I know nothing about beauty pageants, but its easy to recognise when an editor is making a valuable contribution as you have done and continue to do. Euryalus 02:09, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
Miss X's Outstanding Teen
I have nominated a number of articles that you created about the state-level competitions that feed into Miss America's Outstanding Teen for deletion here.
BTW, you form the plural of singular nouns with "'s", even when those nouns end in "s". Thus, "Miss Arizona's", but also "Miss Kansas's" and "Miss Arkansas's" are correct. "Miss Kansas'" and "Miss Arkansas'" are incorrect. ObiterDicta ( pleadings • errata • appeals ) 02:03, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
- OK, I've looked at your contrib history and now understand why you are peeved about my proposed deletion of these articles: this seems to be happening a lot to the articles you create and this could be enough to get anybody frustrated. (If I had known the history here, I probably would have pulled a few punches in my wording of the nom: I don't believe in kicking people when they are down.) Could I make a suggestion? You seem to be creating categories of state beuaty pageants and state pageant winners and then populating them with material copypasted into multiple articles. These are deleted because no one seems to understand how they can be made into proper articles about the particular subject of that article without sources. You would probably see less of your work deleted if you would start by finding reliable sources about beauty pageants that contain information not already in Wikipedia and adding that material in an appropriate place, creating a new article if necessary. Taking this approach would save both yourself (and others) considerable aggravation.
- You may want to consider that the coverage of pageants on WP is perhaps already as broad as community notions of notability will support. You could choose to see this as an accomplishment and focus your considerable energies and passion for the subject on getting a couple of the core articles to feature status. ObiterDicta ( pleadings • errata • appeals ) 17:29, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
Welcome Back
Pageant Updater, you are one of the best editors on beauty pageants in Wikipedia. I'm glad that your back. There are many things and events that you can't control in life. My articles get deleted, my sections, and other things get erased. But I don't give up. And you shouldn't too.

Miss Teen USA 2007 Questions
Pageant Updater, what did you think of the trivia section and competition rounds section? It took me a long time to wrote. If there is any errors, feel free to correct it or tell me. Also I want to ask you, could I add my site, Pageant Beauties to the external links section? I want people and readers to know that the webmaster of the site edited the article. Please respond.

Pageant Updater, I'm new to this & hope I'm asking the question correctly. I don't see the problem with adding middle names since there are already quite a number of them in the lists of Miss America & state representatives. (ex. Miss America 1971-Phyliss Ann George (I've never ever seen her middle name printed in any Miss America program or anywhere in 36 years but right here & I have a LOT of Miss America Pageant & preliminary programs- that's great for Wikipedia!). Just don't understand why some middle names would be included on lists but not others. A few of Miss NC winners actually were more commonly known by their middle names (ex. 1964- Esther Sharon Finch was known as Sharon & not Esther). In a couple of instances, I corrected the spelling of names that were just plain WRONG! (ex. Miss NC 1948 was Patsy Osborne..NOT Osbourne). I've never used wikipedia much before & don't really care all that much, just thought I would add info. I was sure about to make the entries more complete. (Hope I'm signing this correctly below.

I noticed somebody created this page, which is related to Becky Lee, a page which you nominated for deletion. I feel that this new page does not meet notability guidelines, but I am going away for 10 days and would be unable to respond to any afd questions etc. So, I was wondering if you would mind nominating it, should you feel that it isn't notable. Thanks for the time, Scorpion0422 21:48, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

You appear to have contacted several editors who participated in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Miss Wisconsin's Outstanding Teen and were both keep voters soliciting their participation in the above-mentioned AfD. Please review WP:CANVASS carefully. Normally, contacting only one "side" of an AfD discussion (even if done lightly) is considered improper because it introduces bias into the deletion discussion. Do you have any ideas on how to correct this? I'm tempted to simply contact everyone who participated in that discussion, especially as you are claiming that it somehow produced a consensus to create the new article. ObiterDicta ( pleadings • errata • appeals ) 01:55, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
- I will contact the others myself, and was thinking of doing so anyway. PageantUpdater 02:00, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
