Tomio Station (富雄駅) is a train station on the Kintetsu Nara Line in Nara, Japan.

The station has an island platform and 2 tracks.

1  Nara Line Eastbound for Nara, Yamato-Saidaiji, Kintetsu Nara, Tenri and Kyoto
2  Nara Line Westbound for Ikoma, Fuse, Tsuruhashi, Uehommachi and Kintetsu Namba

History

  • April 30, 1914 - The station begins operating as a station of Osaka Electric Tramway
  • March 15, 1941 - OET merges with Sankyu Electric Express Railway, and becomes Kansai Electric Express Railway
  • June 1, 1944 - KEER merges, and becomes Kinki Nippon Railway Co. (Present: Kintetsu Corp.)
  • April 1, 2007 - Starts using PiTaPa
