Robert Kaplow is a novelist and teacher whose works include The Cat Who Killed Lillian Jackson Braun: A Parody, satirizing the books of Lillian Jackson Braun and the mystery genre; Alessandra in Love and "Alessandra in Between" two comic tales about the romantic tribulations of a sardonic and intelligent high school junior; Me and Orson Welles: A Novel, a romantic coming-of-age story set in 1937 around the founding of Orson Welles' Mercury Theatre. His most recent novel is "Who's Killing the Great Writers of America?": a satire of writers and publishers and mysteries. For National Public Radio, Mr. Kaplow created "Moe Moskowitz and the Punsters" : a series of musical and satirical pop-culture parodies.
