Alexandre Frutos (born April 23, 1982 in Vitry-le-François, France) is a professional football player currently a free agen after being released by Brighton and Hove Albion. The left footed winger began his football career in France for Metz in 2000. In 2004, he joined french Ligue 1 side Châteauroux on loan before joining Brighton and Hove Albion the following season with French compatriot Sébastian Carole.

Frutos made 36 appearances for Brighton in the Football League Championship during the 2005/2006 season, scoring 3 goals.

During the 2006/07 season in League One, Frutos failed to make an impact in the Brighton first team and only made a handful of appearances under manager Dean Wilkins.

As first-team oppurtunites seemed limited for Frutos in the upcoming 2007/08 season, Brighton decided to offer Alexandre a mutual consent release from his contract which the Frenchman agreed to.

Alexandre is currently on trial at an unnamed French side.
