Wikipedia:Editor review/Nicholas Perkins
Nicko (talk · contribs) I have been a Wikipedian for some time now, but I wouldn't say my edit count is huge. I would like to see what other editors think of my contributions so far to see where I could improve. Thanks very much. Nicko (Talk•Contribs) 12:26, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

Muggle
Nicko,
If you take a look at the current article on "Muggle", you will find that somebody has vandalized the page by replacing all instances of "human" with "untermensch", a Nazi racial term. I was trying to undo the vandalism, and will make another effort to undo it right now. The term "untermensch" does not appear anywhere in the HP universe and does not belong in the article.--Mcattell 15:10, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
No worries. Thanks for being on edit watch.--Mcattell 15:14, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
Questions
- Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
The latest major contribution of which I am proud of is George Adams (businessman). This is because it isn't any sort of specialty of mine but through some limited research I was able to create a stub article to at least give people some information, and hopefully give something for others to improve on.- To be honest, I'm most proud of my latest contribution, Nazir Hoosein. I spent some time researching the article and kept it within my userspace until I was happy with it. It also is completely inline referenced, something I think is important for me to do.
- Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- I have been lucky enough not to have any conflicts so far, and my wikistress levels are quite good. Conflict is something I'm sure I'll come up against eventually, but it isn't something I'm concerned about. Wikipedia is a collaboration, so I would deal with conflict through negotiation, discussion and by not taking things personally.
