Albus Severus Potter
Albus Severus Potter is the son of Harry and Ginny Potter in the Harry Potter universe. He is their middle child, and at the end of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is sent to Hogwarts. Due to jokes from his elder brother, James Potter II Albus fears that he will be placed in Slytherin instead of Gryffindor, the 'family house'. He wants people to think he is a brave as his heroic family and is scared being in Slytherin will make people think less of him. Harry kindly reminds him that Severus Snape was in Slytherin and was probably the 'bravest man [he] ever knew'. Al, as he is affectionately called by his mother, was named after two of Hogwarts' Headmasters, Albus Dumbledore and Severus Snape. It is ironic that Albus Potter's middle name is Severus, because of all of Harry and Ginny's children, Albus is the only one with the eyes of his grandmother, Lily. It was for these same eyes that Severus Snape gave his life fighting to protect what was left of his first true love.
