SummerSlam 2007 is the twentieth annual SummerSlam professional wrestling pay-per-view event for World Wrestling Entertainment. It will take place on August 26 2007 at the Continental Airlines Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The promotional poster features Umaga and the cast of Jackass.
The official theme song is "Whine Up" by Kat DeLuna feat. Elephant Man.
The event was officially announced at the end of a RAW house show on December 28 2006 held at the arena. Tickets for SummerSlam 2007 went on sale on December 30, and sold out in 40 minutes[1].over 20,000 fans are to be at the event.
It was officially announced at The Great American Bash on July 22 2007 that Triple H would make his in-ring return from his January 2007 right quadriceps tear at SummerSlam 2007.[2].

- John Cena vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Championship
- It was announced by Jonathan Coachman on the July 24th edition of WWE Raw that Randy Orton had become the number one contender for Cena's title at Summerslam
- Summerslam will make 11 straight WWE PPV that John Cena has been in the main event
- It should be noted that Randy Orton won his first major title at Summerslam 2004 by defeating Chris Benoit for the World Heavyweight Championship.
