Jock McCorkell (Born 2nd July 1918) is a former Australian rules footballer in the Victorian Football League.

McCorkell joined North Melbourne in 1940 but his football career was interrupted by the war. He returned to North Melbourne in 1946.

McCorkell was a full back player against John Coleman who scored 4 goals for Essendon in the losing 1949 Grand Final in which he was outed for 4 weeks for striking.

He won the Club's Best & Fairest in 1952 and retired in 1953. Later he coached North Melbourne for 2 years.
