George Koichi Nozuka (b. April 28 1986 [1]) is an American-Canadian R&B/Pop singer of Asian American descent.[2] In the week of October 27, his debut single, "Talk to Me" peaked at #1 on the MuchMusic Music Video countdown.

George sings, plays keyboards, guitar and harmonica, and co-wrote all of the songs on his album.[3] The 21-year-old spent 12 months recording it in Toronto, Los Angeles and Sweden with a number of producers, including Perry Alexander, Roy "Royalty" Hamilton and Anthony M.

Nozuka is a nephew of actor Kyra Sedgwick who is currently the star of the television series The Closer. Kyra's famous husband is Kevin Bacon .[4] His younger brother Justin is also a musician who debued his album Holly in the UK, and his younger brother Philip, an actor, has appeared on Degrassi: The Next Generation.

George attended St. Andrew's College until 2002, before transferring to the Etobicoke School of the Arts to study musical theatre. He graduated in 2005.
