Blue Benn Diner

The Blue Benn Diner is a diner in Bennington,Vermont that is owned by Sonny Monroe,Mary Lou Monroe and Lisa LaFlamme. The diner has been open for 60 years. The Blue Benn is famous for its different styles of cooking, such as vegetarian, mexican.good ol' diner cooking, and in season garden fresh vegetables from the Monroe garden. The Blue Benn has been reviewed as "One of the best in the World," and "Who would want to pass it by." It has also been visited by many famous celebrities such as Christopher Reeves and David Schwimmer. Sonny Monroe is the self- taught head chef and Marylou is the head waitress.

The Blue Benn menu is extensive and has variety. Breakfast is served all day and there are seasonal items such Gazpacho and Strawberry Shortcake. On one occasion, Sonny and Marylou's grandson Matheson, and his grandfather Sonny, made Brioche a French sweetbread. They served it as french toast by dipping it into the batter. They then put carmelized peaches on, and the order would be complete. They made four loaves and they sold out. It was the first time for Brioche at the Blue Benn, and not the last. The breakfast is the highlight of the menu, due to the fact of the variety of the items. Sonny came up with the Garden Scrambled, Farmers Omelet, and much, much, much more. The menu is often imitated and never duplicated due to the great items.

Sonny and Marylou

Sonny and Marylou are the proud owners of the Blue Benn Diner. They first took over the diner on December 24, 1974. They are coming up on their 35th anniversery for the diner. They both have a daughter, Lisa, who also works for the Blue Benn as a waitress. Sonny first worked at the Vermont Restaurant in Bennington at 15 years old making sandwiches and pizzas. He worked his way up the line and was the head chef before he graduated highschool. He is very talented and creative in the kitchen and has an exceptional palate. Marylou was and is a very bright person. She is the head waitress. She has always used her wits in the restaurant business to make the right decisions to make the diner as great as it is. She is a very gifted person. Marylou is very kind and generous also. Lisa is a great person and is also very kind, intelligent, and generous. She is a waitress at the diner. She and her mother would make great waitresses at any restaurant in the world because they are great people. Lisa married Bill LaFlamme who also works at the diner. They have two sons, Matheson and Marcus. Matheson has already started working at the diner since the age of 12 and is still working. Marcus enjoys baseball and is pursuing a career in baseball.

Rosatis Pizza

- Esatblished in February 1979.

In 1895, Fred Rosati, a recent immigrant from Italy, opened a fine Italian restaurant in Coney Island, New York. Eleven years later he moved to Chicago and founded another restaurant in the same family tradition.
Then, with the Rosati name firmly established in the Chicago suburbs, the family took another giant step forward. In February, 1979, the family started franchising carryout/delivery stores and the first full-size Rosati Pizza Restaurant opened in Schaumburg, Illinois. Many more locations were opened, both full-size and carryout By 1993, there were over fifty restaurants in three states.
Today with over 75 stores throughout the United states, Rosatis Pizza still stands by its promise of 100% fresh ingrediants, all made on location.

Sam McKinney

Sam McKinney is currently the youngest member of the UK's MI6 at the age of 17. Before he entered the MI6 he was a very high-paid mercenary and took down incredible targets just by using his karate abilities. He has many aliases such as Miguel Diaz, a wealthy banker, and Tony Muciano, an Italian bartender. He no longer exists according to the U.s. government and any other country. Rumor has it he is somewhere in Chicago lying low. He currently has robbed MI6 of it's classified files and threatens to release it to the world. He could be anywhere. You never know.

Scuff Mark

"Scuff mark" is a term most commonly used to describe the rubber residue left behind after a shoe has been rubbed against a hard surface. While most commonly found on tile surfaces, scuff marks may also be found on linoleum or other flat, somewhat smooth surfaces. "Scuff mark" may also refer to a foreign, removable mark on an automobile's finish or a shoe. In addition to rubber, scuff marks may also consist of tar, dirt, or other adhesive materials. Various tools and liquid solvents are available to aid in scuff mark removal.
