Remove The Veil is a four-piece southern rock and Christian band from Opelika, Alabama, founded in January of 2005. They are currently signed to Facedown Records.
History
The band was initially a five-piece indie rock band consisting of Hendrix, McCall, Hood, Coxwell and then vocalist Michael Sasser. They released an EP in 2005 with 5 songs. In mid-2005 Sasser left to join With Blood Comes Cleansing, and the band decided to put Hendrix on vocals and guitar rather than find a replacement. In the winter of 2005 the band won a local "battle of the bands" called Indie Wars held by The Core, a Christian venue in Columbus, Georgia. The grand prize for winning Indie Wars was free time in a studio. June of 2006 saw the release of their first EP as a four-piece band. After endless dates of tours, shows, and internet play, the band was signed to Facedown Records in early 2007.
