KMGW is an adult contemporary radio station in Casper, Wyoming branded as Star 96.7 FM and is owned by Chris Devine's Marathon Media. KMGW started out as Magic 94, as an adult contemporary radio station in the Summer of 1989. In the mid 90s it become an alternative music station. Later in the decade it was rebranded as Star 94 and converted back to its original AC formate. It was moved to its current location on the FM dial a few years back. The music programming is syndicated by ABC Radio Networks. As with almost every local FM station, the broadcasting tower is located south of town on Casper Mountain.
